Passing the buck onto Cole because Rebecca herself hasn't the creativity or the spine to put on a decent show seems like a low blow.

Think Rebecca is the only one to put each song given her twist and not playing safe by consistantly singing the original, plus you need to realize Rebecca singing out her genre most weeks

Agree Stroodle if Rebecca copied the matt safe style she would blow past matt and win the show easy.

Yes at that point on the live show she went very flat on 'Satisfaction'.  Was flat a few times actually during the song.

Mmm I did find it fascinating watching Cole's undisguised contempt when Rebecca's name was read out.
Never seen that level of undisguised disapproval from a mentor before!

I think it's more a sign of how completely out of touch Cole has become

Cheryl's had a lot on her mind as well as the divorce. Heard the malaria was not malaria and not the plastic surgery rumour either but something much more unpleasant and upsetting.

All she had to do was take a break...and her stock would have been just as high.

She's still a great tabloid seller...but you get the feeling that she's dancing to their beat now.

Cole is a complete waste of space.  It's a pity they don't have mentors that know about music and are willing to spend time with the contestants.
