I think her 'I do what I'm told' line is really a bit lame.
She's meant to be the star? Passing the buck onto Cole because Rebecca herself hasn't the creativity or the spine to put on a decent show seems like a low blow. |
By:
Think Rebecca is the only one to put each song given her twist and not playing safe by consistantly singing the original, plus you need to realize Rebecca singing out her genre most weeks
By:
Agree Stroodle if Rebecca copied the matt safe style she would blow past matt and win the show easy.
But the girl is totally unique and has world domination at her feet. The most exiting new star as agreed by music experts the world over. |
By:
Maybe having world domination at her feet is the reason she can't move them?

This is the Rebecca who, in Rock Week, turned in a Gospel song ('I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For')
Playing out of her comfort zone my big fat sweaty 'king of rock 'n roll' ar$e. Great voice and everything but oh so samey, week in, week out. |
By:
Yes Roger, she needs to shake her t1ts around a bit to make things a bit more interesting.
By:
The same Rebecca who was 'out of my comfort zone having to walk to the mic'!!!
The same Rebecca who promised 'something different' last week and .............................. did the same as she has the other 8 weeks!! Seen one 'Singing Candle' as she's known in the press you've seen them all. |

Plenty of tits on this thread.
By:
And her arse as well for good measure.
Yeah yeah, and there are plenty of ****s on this thread too. |
By:
Yes her @rse is the size of about 1000 large candles1
By:
And she could have the courage of her convictions, not blame Cole for everything and show some boll0x for a change.
And yeah there's plenty of boll0x on this thread too... |
By:
Do you think Cole is going to blow The Singing Candle' out! [;)]
By:
Spot on as usual Journeyman
By:
Rebecca,no courage, total p*ssy, hasnt the ability to put on a good show.
"has an interesting voice" is not enough at this level |
By:
The girl has zero self confidence. Not her fault. Had a hard knock life no doubt.
Watch her backstage; http://xfactor.itv.com/2010/videos/video/watch_a-rockstar-mash-up_item_201599.htm @time remaining 2.37 getting worried about the notes in Satisfaction she then fails to hit (nerves, too low?) @time remaining 1.47ish hands over face, What happening next?! Meanwhile Cher, Katie, Matt, Mary, One D, Katie all brimming with confidendence. |
By:
"its a hard knock life, its a hard knock life"
"Chers going to take that prize" "why do you not realise ?" [:D] |
By:
Charlie
Yes at that point on the live show she went very flat on 'Satisfaction'. Was flat a few times actually during the song. |
By:
Mmm I did find it fascinating watching Cole's undisguised contempt when Rebecca's name was read out.
Never seen that level of undisguised disapproval from a mentor before! Cheryl as a time served all round performer may not be the vocal queen of the UK, but she has no time for play-it-safe passengers. |
By:
Journey
Yes she was very shocked when she heard 'Candles' name called out I noticed that at the time. |
By:
I think it's more a sign of how completely out of touch Cole has become
She's shown no interest in the show all year, jetting back and forth to the States She had no idea how popular Gamu was,no idea how hated Katie was and no idea that Wagner was just a harmless duffer. Damaged goods. |
By:
Cheryl's had a lot on her mind as well as the divorce. Heard the malaria was not malaria and not the plastic surgery rumour either but something much more unpleasant and upsetting.
By:
All she had to do was take a break...and her stock would have been just as high.
She's still a great tabloid seller...but you get the feeling that she's dancing to their beat now. |
By:
Cole is a complete waste of space. It's a pity they don't have mentors that know about music and are willing to spend time with the contestants.
By:
I know you'll all laugh
but Pete Waterman would have been great as a mentor. He actually really knows his music. |
By:
aa
I think he probably knows the business as good as anyone yes. Seems quite a nice bloke too from what I've seen of him. |

randy jackson would sort rebecca out
