But clearly those are theor opinions Lou.  If someone thinks she's shyte then she is to them. If you think she is the best thing since sliced bread then that's your opinion too; doesn't make it right or wrong.

Clearly the Wagner comment is also a poorly worded opinion.

Believe it or not some people vote Tory....yes I know but still that's their opinion.

All part of life's rich tapestry.

So why not put "IMO Rebecca is shyte".  That's fine and they're well entitled to say it.  I would also say 'Wagner will make the final FACT' is hardly poorly worded.

Lou surely you can't expect everyone to prefix every opinion with IMO? Blimey we communicate on a higher level than that as human beings.

Wagner quote is poorly worded in that it is expressed as a fact when clearly it isn't...it's an opinion.

GB has given an example of another opinion; he just happens to be wrong and time will prove that to be the case...though that's not a fact it's my pinion..unless it turns out to be right and then I will claim the factual nature of the statement backed up witht he mighty sword of hindsight.

Aristotle eat yer heart out.

Ok we see each others point I'm sure.  I don't think Rebecca's the most over rated on the show but I've layed her so don't think she'll actually win it ..... Here's hoping!

bit melodramatic georgeLaugh

rebecca has an amazing voice, dont think that is disputable. larry larry frankly is pretty clueless

but it's quite samey, i dont think it has huge versatility, and i wonder whether she can garner votes like one direction and matt. think she is a finalist though

sshe hasn't even got going properly yet just going through the gears whilst the others are going full pelt already. i feel she can change it up with a pop number once she does the layers will be running for the hills. she's a class above.

Ashley

You're not saying she's deliberately not tried her best for the first three weeks?

no, i'm saying she has a lot more to give. i don't see that from the others.

Nick not sure which George is being melodramatic (maybe we are both drama queens Laugh) bit if she makes final as you say then we cash in anyway..unless I let it all ride as I usually do.

I agree with Ashley's summary. Sometimes you just get a vision of someone being announced the winner and I see that with Beccy (to her friends)but not with Matt.

But hey like with politics a week is a long time in x factor.

talking of metaphysical

Jean-Paul Sartre sat in a Paris cafe one afternoon, revising his draft of Being and Nothingness, when the waitress approached."A cup of coffee, please," he said to her. "No cream."

"I'm sorry, monsieur," said the waitress, "but we're out of cream today. Would you like no milk instead?"
