How can Simon resist the hoo haa he will cause if after all this he "suddenly" makes Gamu his wild wild wild card. |

X-Factor reject Gamu Nhengu is travelling to the San Jose mine in Chile in time to greet the 33 trapped miners as they are pulled to safety.
Gamu will sing the Chilean National Anthem to each miner as they see daylight for the first time in over 66 days and will then follow it up with a performance of other well known Spanish language songs such as La Bamba and the Ketchup Song. The 33 miners are huge fans of Gamu and were disgusted that she wasn't even invited back on to the X-Factor as Cheryl Cole's wildcard. They have been following her progress on videos of the X-Factor that have been sent down to them whilst they have been trapped 800 feet below the earth's surface. 'We asked for X-rated videos' said one of the miners 'but they must have misunderstood our request although some of the lads had a cheeky tug when Nicole Scherzinger was doing the judging.' They have even started up their own underground group called Guardar Gamu, or Save Gamu in English, and have managed to get a petition with 33 signatures which they hope to send to Simon Cowell in an effort to get the Zimbabwean starlet reinstated to the live X-Factor finals. Gamu is said to be flattered by the attention she has been receiving from Chile 'I hopes this publicity will help increase my appeal to a wider adult audience.... and not just miners.' 'It's ironic that I've been facing a major problem to stay in the UK and now I'll be facing a miner problem in Chile' she added before she was asked to stop using miner/minor puns to get cheap laughs at the end of a crappy spoof |

Gamu was a guest at the MOBO awards. She looked a total star. She said
"I'm in negotiations with several important people and a lot of work has been offered to me and I'm hoping something can come of it." She cannot work while she is facing deportation and she canot realease any records for 3 months under contract to Simon. This is to stop people like her using their Xfactor fame to get an Xmas number 1 in front of Simons boy band. After that she will be massive. News flash for the UK treasury she does not have to live here to have a career in music; are you really stupid enough to make her pay all those taxes elsewhere. Ah well it'll be worth it to keep the racists and xenophobes happy. Never mind; we don't need the money we can always sack some more public servants. |
|
By:
Don't worry. She will be back on our screens in the New Year.
If you look carefully enough you will see her in the background during Comic Relief. |

a career with jimmy shand awaits

Look who is featured before all these beauties. Even infront of the brilliant Alesha Dixon (more beauty, talent in her little finger than Cheryl and all her wannabees roled into one)
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1322321/MOBO-Awards-2010-X-Factor-reject-Gamu-Nhengu-cheered-crowds.html?ito=feeds-newsxml and this http://uk.news.yahoo.com/4/20101021/ten-gamu-nhengu-wows-at-mobo-awards-ea4616c.html Note some nobody trying to get into Gamys limelight. Plus how intelligent is this 18 year old!!!! The momentum starts now I do not believe the treasury will let this Golden Tax goose be expelled form the country. |

By:
i told you once, i told you a thousand times, she's incredible
|
|
By:
Yeah Nikki. I cannot belive Simon has let her go. If she is talking offers from people she must be on the market soon. I thhnk Simon owns her for 3 months and the powers that be will not let her work; ie sing; until her visa is sorted. Or she is off to pay tax in some other countery while we wait for her to hit the charts.
If she makes it as big as you and me think there's a cracking movie in there. Slum dog millionaire meets Lady sings the Blues. I bet the rights have been sold already. |
|
By:
And for me this really is big news.
The Aberlour chidrens charity is to realease a song Gamu recoroded for them a year ago. Simon coannot stop it through his contractual ties on Gamu and the law cannot stop it beacause Gamu is not allowd to work. This song belongs not to Gamu but to the charity so no one can stop them releasing it.All proceeds go to the charity. I bet both Simon and the governments lawyers are going to do everything they can to stop it. I hope its "Where will you sleep this Christmas". BTW not for the first time this song has vanished from the internet. Anyone got a link. Great song. Written by her teacher. I cannot wait for the anti immigrant nutter saying Gamu's very voice should not be heard in this country. |
|
By:
From Marie Claire.
The track, entitled Where Will You Sleep This Christmas, is being released on behalf of Children’s charity Aberlou, with the proceeds raising money to help Scottish families and children. Gmau gets nothing for this as she is not allowed to work in the country and Simons conract does not allow her to release records. However she does not have any rights to this record it belongs to Aberlour and they can do what they want with it. Ha ha ha ha. I would love it to go to xmas no1. |
|
By:
Genius. Forget lining Cowell's pockets with Wagner votes. This is the one that will REALLY get up his nose. Even better than RATM. It would be brilliant if this was Xmas No.1
|
|
By:
Despite the fact that Gamu is not allowed to work ATM she has got round it again. She is already on a an Xmas single to be realeased by the Aberlour chidrens trust because they aleady posess several songs which she sang for them and has no rights to them herself.
Now she is featured on two tracks on an LP to be released by her choir. I bet the law and the anti-immigrant contingent are seething. I am delighted. Cowell is also probably not too happy either as she is contractualy tied to him not to realease any music for 6 months. Here is a spippet of one of the tracks. The other one is "How great thou art" (Bit of a dirge). http://entertainment.stv.tv/tv/211338-gamu-exclusive-x-factor-star-set-to-stun-with-gospel-track-release/ Gamu's appeal is tommorrow. I think this country will be mad not to let her work here. I actually think much of Scotland will be unhappy if she is sent back to Zimababwe. I'd be proud to have her pay taxes and represent my country in music and good works. If she wins tommorrow I bet she will be praisin the Lord that she was saved from the hell that is Planet Cowell. Her backers will not be minding the publicity. Not least her choir and Aberlour. |

Hurrah!!!!!!!!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You can hear Gamu's carol right here. Its a proper Christams song by a load of people who actually believe in it. http://www.marieclaire.co.uk/news/celebrity/507907/first-listen-gamu-nhengu-s-charity-christmas-single.html Who will buy it?. The anti xfactor crew, everyone who felt Gamu woz robbed but most of all everyone who would like to hear a beautiful brand new proper Christmas Carol at number one. Release date 12 December. BTW I warn you that I have backed it. |

45,000 hits 4 days.
Nikki ![]() its a Christmas Carol a proper one. It sounds Chriatmassy in the old fashioned way. ie the proper and best way. You do not have to like the tune or even the singing.Or is it like the Cowell household "Oh no Away in a Manger my worst Chrismas carol" Mingin. |
|
By:
And the Scottish support!!!!!!. Must be sub 3's by Christmas time.
|
|
By:
This or Surfin' Bird? I am confused now...
|
|
By:
There will be a traditionalist backlash against surfin bird. This is the anti xfactor song. NAP.
|
|
By:
From the BBC.
The Home Office had turned down a visa renewal application by the teenage singer's mother, but reversed that decision at a hearing in Glasgow. No one is yet saying that she can work in this country yet. To me its looking very likely and I am delighted. Next step she is all over the media for a couple of weeks. Then releases her single on December 12. Then its game on Gamu. You know it makes sense its the logical Xmas no1. |
|

melv
Next year's X Factor winner? I thought she was very good and could well have won this. Better than all Cheryl's girls imo. |
|
By:
I hope she gets enough work not to have to do Xfactor. Xmas number 1 would be a start. I think its possible. Scottish support, its a good antixfactor protest, its a proper Christmas carol type song, its for charity, And last but not least lots of people love her singing and quite a few actually love the song.
I think its excellent and will put a nice seal on this year if it gets played a lot at Xmas.Even more so as I have backed it. If all that happens she will not need Cowell. |
|
By:
hold on melv, hold on, gamus is fantastic but she's not going anywhere with that song
x factor next year is her chance, and she starts a v strong favourite in my eyes |
