Gamu's passport has been siezed by immigrantion officials and she could be deported if the home office cannot be convinced to let the family stay in Britain. Her case is heard next Thursday.

She has however made it through to the judges house. Gamus performance was filmed in Dorset becasue if Gamu left the country she could not get back in. Can't see Cheryl going through all that trouble then saying sorry Gamu you are a crap singer. Get off my show.

Massive storyline. World publicity for Gmau and more importantly to Simon for the Xfactor brand.

Simon will want to leave a legacy behind him on quitting xfactor uk  his ego will force his hand. He will want to land a blow for tolerance, anti racism and justice.

But not before he has wrung all the agony, drama, publicity
kudos and cash out of the affair.

On the other hand this will attract a lot of hate. I doubt that a Tory governement will want to be lax in this type of thing.

CryOtherwise all the darkies'll be over here robbing all the talent show jobs.

And the news today is that radio times no longer states anything clearly about the Oct 9th show.

The latest runour today is that Oct 9th show is the longest episode ever on xfactor and there will be a surprise.

Could it be SHOCK gamu off tommorrow and SURPRISE gamu back next week. If so Cowell's manipulation machine is in over drive. What despicable toying with other peoples; lives and thats only me and my account with my bookmaker.

No facts pure gossip off tinternet. Some-one or other claiming to know tells us that Gamu says.

“I feel great when I’m singing I can be who I want on stage but without losing who I am. Just performing to people and having them respond, I think it’s amazing, the greatest feeling in the world. I’m ready for this.”

She then sang Pixie Lott’s Cry Me Out for Cheryl and Will.i.am.

After the performance Cheryl raved: “I really find I can relax when she sings.”

If this is true then Gamu seems to have  given a performance worthy of herslf and does not fk up under pressure. I will eat my hat if this appears before Sunday.

If true then I simply cannpt see anyone saying there are 3 better singers than Gamu I think its highly likely to be the visa issue that downs her if she gives her usual amazing performance.

Surely if its the the visa it can be sorted and Simon gets his pantomime on the 9th.
How perfect the timing will have been for Simon. What a coincidence.

Any other might be worth £2 if you can get astronomic odds.

I backed him at 12 and never laid off. He sang OK and was more real than Rhydian. But I backed him because of female appeal and interenet hits not because he was a great singer. I wonder if its the nerves problem that led to his non career.

You could have picked better examples of my past fk ups. Andrew Garcia, Rachel Hylton and I quake with embarassment when i think of that Hill Billy girl off idol.

I have plenty of clues sometimes they are the wrong ones. I would be a mistake to presume I am always wrong though. Being occasionally correct is what keeps me at it. That and transmission from planet Melv. Laugh

1645: Coral bookmakers have removed Gamu Nhengu from their X Factor outright betting, after the visa application made by her family was refused.

She now looks likely to head back to Zimbabwe.

The 18-year-old proved one of the most popular acts in the betting but with the news today, the confusion over the issue now looks to be at an end.

"If Gamu had officially been reinstated, she would have been the red-hot evens favourite with us, but despite being eliminated, she still proved popular with our punters, who were obviously confident she would be allowed back in," said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.

Rebecca Ferguson has been backed with Coral and is now 3/1 from 7/2.

Organisers of the African Music Awar ds want her to perform with The Jacksons at their event next week.

They have invited her to join Jermaine Jackson and Rebbie on stage for a Michael Jackson medley - after the singers watched her on YouTube. She would join a star-studded line-up at Wembley Arena on October 15, including chart-topper Tinchy Stryder.African Music Awards founder Eric McKaiser said: "If X Factor does not recognise her talents, then we do. We would love Gamu to perform with us. She makes us proud to be African.

Gamu did not threaten anyone’s security. No, she doesn’t pose a threat to any person in this country. She only sought to bring happiness to people; to sing for them and make they feel good if only for a few moments. And for a while she did. She touched the hearts of many people with her soulful, most beautiful voice.

I recommend anyone interested in this affair to read the full article.

X-Factor reject Gamu Nhengu is travelling to the San Jose mine in Chile in time to greet the 33 trapped miners as they are pulled to safety.

Gamu will sing the Chilean National Anthem to each miner as they see daylight for the first time in over 66 days and will then follow it up with a performance of other well known Spanish language songs such as La Bamba and the Ketchup Song.

The 33 miners are huge fans of Gamu and were disgusted that she wasn't even invited back on to the X-Factor as Cheryl Cole's wildcard.

They have been following her progress on videos of the X-Factor that have been sent down to them whilst they have been trapped 800 feet below the earth's surface.

'We asked for X-rated videos' said one of the miners 'but they must have misunderstood our request although some of the lads had a cheeky tug when Nicole Scherzinger was doing the judging.'

They have even started up their own underground group called Guardar Gamu, or Save Gamu in English, and have managed to get a petition with 33 signatures which they hope to send to Simon Cowell in an effort to get the Zimbabwean starlet reinstated to the live X-Factor finals.

Gamu is said to be flattered by the attention she has been receiving from Chile 'I hopes this publicity will help increase my appeal to a wider adult audience.... and not just miners.'

'It's ironic that I've been facing a major problem to stay in the UK and now I'll be facing a miner problem in Chile' she added before she was asked to stop using miner/minor puns to get cheap laughs at the end of a crappy spoof

"I'm in negotiations with several important people and a lot of work has been offered to me and I'm hoping something can come of it."

She cannot work while she is facing deportation and she canot realease any records for 3 months under contract to Simon. This is to stop people like her using their Xfactor fame to get an Xmas number 1 in front of Simons boy band.

After that she will be massive.

News flash for the UK treasury she does not have to live here to have a career in music; are you really stupid enough to make her pay all those taxes elsewhere. Ah well it'll be worth it to keep the racists and xenophobes happy.

Yeah Nikki. I cannot belive Simon has let her go. If she is talking offers from people she must be on the market soon. I thhnk Simon owns her for 3 months and the powers that be will not let her work; ie sing; until her visa is sorted. Or she is off to pay tax in some other countery while we wait for her to hit the charts.

If she makes it as big as you and me think there's a cracking movie in there. Slum dog millionaire meets Lady sings the Blues. I bet the rights have been sold already.

And for me this really is big news.

The Aberlour chidrens charity is to realease a song Gamu recoroded for them a year ago. Simon coannot stop it through his contractual ties on Gamu and the law cannot stop it beacause Gamu is not allowd to work. This song belongs not to Gamu but to the charity so no one can stop them releasing it.All proceeds go to the charity. I bet both Simon and the governments lawyers are going to do everything they can to stop it.

I hope its "Where will you sleep this Christmas".

BTW not for the first time this song has vanished from the internet. Anyone got a link. Great song. Written by her teacher.

I cannot wait for the anti immigrant nutter saying Gamu's very voice should not be heard in this country.

From Marie Claire.

The track, entitled Where Will You Sleep This Christmas, is being released on behalf of Children’s charity Aberlou, with the proceeds raising money to help Scottish families and children.

Gmau gets nothing for this as she is not allowed to work in the country and Simons conract does not allow her to release records.

However she does not have any rights to this record it belongs to Aberlour and they can do what they want with it.

Ha ha ha ha. I would love it to go to xmas no1.

Despite the fact that Gamu is not allowed to work ATM she has got round it again. She is already on a an Xmas single to be realeased by the Aberlour chidrens trust because they aleady posess several songs which she sang for them and has no rights to them herself.

Now she is featured on two tracks on an LP to be released by her choir.

I bet the law and the anti-immigrant contingent are seething. I am delighted. Cowell is also probably not too happy either as she is contractualy tied to him not to realease any music for 6 months.

Here is a spippet of one of the tracks. The other one is "How great thou art" (Bit of a dirge).

http://entertainment.stv.tv/tv/211338-gamu-exclusive-x-factor-star-set-to-stun-with-gospel-track-release/

Gamu's appeal is tommorrow. I think this country will be mad not to let her work here. I actually think much of Scotland will be unhappy if she is sent back to Zimababwe. I'd be proud to have her pay taxes and represent my country in music and good works.

If she wins tommorrow I bet she will be praisin the Lord that she was saved from the hell that is Planet Cowell. Her backers will not be minding the publicity. Not least her choir and Aberlour.
