Otherwise all the darkies'll be over here robbing all the talent show jobs.

For somebody who is meant to be out she got a lot of coverage tonight and tbf was pretty good as well. My book is hoping the rumours are correct though and the bookies prices seem to suggest they think she might be out as well imo.

I saw her performance. IMO amazing and is capable of repeating this standard in any style week after week IMO ( I backed Garcia). If there is not a problem with her visa she must be through. Louis was in tears. Travesty if they say she simply is not good enough at Cheryls houses.
|
|
By:
I honestly can't believe that was her singing live, it was TOO perfect..there were no effects on her voice though, it was almost like a pre recorded studio track she was miming to..
|
|
By:
must be a visa problem becasue there is no way she wouldnt get through if it was based on talent, though cher and rebecca take two of the slots. surely gamu is better than katie

sorry if i am being slow - what are you saying here?
|
|
By:
Radio times states clearly that Gamu is not on the show on September the 9th.
|
|
By:
And the news today is that radio times no longer states anything clearly about the Oct 9th show.
The latest runour today is that Oct 9th show is the longest episode ever on xfactor and there will be a surprise. Could it be SHOCK gamu off tommorrow and SURPRISE gamu back next week. If so Cowell's manipulation machine is in over drive. What despicable toying with other peoples; lives and thats only me and my account with my bookmaker. |

No facts pure gossip off tinternet. Some-one or other claiming to know tells us that Gamu says.
“I feel great when I’m singing I can be who I want on stage but without losing who I am. Just performing to people and having them respond, I think it’s amazing, the greatest feeling in the world. I’m ready for this.” She then sang Pixie Lott’s Cry Me Out for Cheryl and Will.i.am. After the performance Cheryl raved: “I really find I can relax when she sings.” If this is true then Gamu seems to have given a performance worthy of herslf and does not fk up under pressure. I will eat my hat if this appears before Sunday. If true then I simply cannpt see anyone saying there are 3 better singers than Gamu I think its highly likely to be the visa issue that downs her if she gives her usual amazing performance. Surely if its the the visa it can be sorted and Simon gets his pantomime on the 9th. How perfect the timing will have been for Simon. What a coincidence. Any other might be worth £2 if you can get astronomic odds. |

i dont know melv but if he is championing gamu then he is right i'm afraid. watch her auditions - different league to all but rebecca. anyway it's between rebecca and the boyband, but gamu should go all the way in my opinion

I backed him at 12 and never laid off. He sang OK and was more real than Rhydian. But I backed him because of female appeal and interenet hits not because he was a great singer. I wonder if its the nerves problem that led to his non career. You could have picked better examples of my past fk ups. Andrew Garcia, Rachel Hylton and I quake with embarassment when i think of that Hill Billy girl off idol. I have plenty of clues sometimes they are the wrong ones. I would be a mistake to presume I am always wrong though. Being occasionally correct is what keeps me at it. That and transmission from planet Melv. ![]() |

Stacey Solly is on board. Stacey - who reached the final of the show last year - gave her backing to the teenager, saying: "I think she should get a second chance, and everyone thinks it. But we'll see what happens. Everyone loves her, she was brilliant." |

BIG NEWS!!! Today's DAILY MIRROR 4&5:...The X Factor Sensation, GAMU has been invited to PERFORM alongside Jermaine & Rebbie Jackson at Next Week's o2 African Music Awards @ Wembley Arena...All £150 Tickets r SOLD OUT...FEW £45 & £25 Left...CLICK LINK FOR UR TICKET
I hope this is the real start of Gamus real career and I hope Cowell cannot stop her releasing records. She has been spotted by some big players. This should be the start not the end.If all this is true will Simon want to get his machievellaian hands back on her. I hear William Haigh the foreign sectary has said on Sky News that there has been an administrative error. BTW the whole world heard the deportation stuff before Gamus family. |

Your a mug shes getting kicked out the country muppet, shes gone not in the competition
1645: Coral bookmakers have removed Gamu Nhengu from their X Factor outright betting, after the visa application made by her family was refused. She now looks likely to head back to Zimbabwe. The 18-year-old proved one of the most popular acts in the betting but with the news today, the confusion over the issue now looks to be at an end. "If Gamu had officially been reinstated, she would have been the red-hot evens favourite with us, but despite being eliminated, she still proved popular with our punters, who were obviously confident she would be allowed back in," said Coral spokesman Gary Burton. Rebecca Ferguson has been backed with Coral and is now 3/1 from 7/2. |

Organisers of the African Music Awar ds want her to perform with The Jacksons at their event next week. They have invited her to join Jermaine Jackson and Rebbie on stage for a Michael Jackson medley - after the singers watched her on YouTube. She would join a star-studded line-up at Wembley Arena on October 15, including chart-topper Tinchy Stryder.African Music Awards founder Eric McKaiser said: "If X Factor does not recognise her talents, then we do. We would love Gamu to perform with us. She makes us proud to be African. Guess what you do not have to live in the UK to have a music career. You do not even have to have Cowell a backer. You know what it might beeen actaully better for the UK and Scotland inparticular if Gamu did stay. Gamus taxes would be one good thing and letting the world know that we wanted highly talented and creative people to live gere would be another. |

Its not like tommorrow you know. There will not be any men in black that will burgle her coucil flat and bungle her and her young brother onto a special rendition flight back to the jungle.
She will still be here next week and available unless Simons contract lawyers say different. |

Alex Magaisa a senior lecturer at the Kent Law School writes.
Gamu did not threaten anyone’s security. No, she doesn’t pose a threat to any person in this country. She only sought to bring happiness to people; to sing for them and make they feel good if only for a few moments. And for a while she did. She touched the hearts of many people with her soulful, most beautiful voice. I recommend anyone interested in this affair to read the full article. http://www.newzimbabwe.com/blog/index.php/2010/10/amagaisa/gamu-the-quality-of-mercy-is-not-strained/ I think it would be a positive benefit to this country for Gamu to stay here. Whatever. You do not need to live in the UK to start a music career I actually believe Gamu is on her way to major international success. She may in the end be better off for being away from the Cowell pantomime. |
