Unbelievably, in Today's RP he goes for Germany, stating that "I was absolutely convinced Germany would be too good for Brazil in the semis and my conviction is just as strong that they will have too much for Argentina in the World Cup Final" - A quite staggering u-turn and no mention of his earlier prediction!

eveyone entitled to change their mind as tournament evolves.  In fact it would be unbelievable/staggering if you didn't use the emerging evidence to update you opinion.

Of course opinions  change during a tournament Ozymandius, I agree with you. But most of us would surely have the grace to admit that their initial prediction was wide of the mark, and admit to eating a slice of humble pie wouldn't we?

saw an interview with on LTV about a month b4 tournament. He was so convinced the germans couldn't win, it made go in hard on spain to be top european team. my alternate main bet was ivory coat to qualify so it looks like he didn't have much effect
