I need advice.
If I bet on top 4 goalscorers lets say 100 euros and there is a dead heat with two players with 5 goals and three with 4 goals.
Do I win anything from my 100?Or do I actually lose something?

Think its something along the lines of -
stake x odds x (number of payouts divided by number of tied players
Full details should be somewhere in T&Cs.

If the player you back has scored 5 goals then you will win your bet with no deductions.
If your player is tied on 4 goals with 2 others then 2/3rds of your stake wins and the other 1/3 is a loser
If your player is tied on 4 goals with 2 others then 2/3rds of your stake wins and the other 1/3 is a loser
Hi-jacking this thread slightly, if I am betting on David Villa for top scorer and he finishes on five goals tied with two others, what price do I need to be backing him to ensure that my "winner" does not end up losing me money?
2/1; then 2/3rds would lose and 1/3 win at 2/1 retruning your orginal unit stake. If you can find 2's Villa let me know and I'll get my wheelbarrow ready!

I attempted to mathematically price this up using a 5goal/4goal sliding scale (as one players chances of 5 goals went up the chances of the combined number of 4 goals went down by the same figure.
Villa 100%
Klose 75%
Schneider 67%
Muller 54%
Vittek/Higuain 40%
Forlan 19.6%
Suarez 8.6%
Podolski 2.5%
which came to 406.7% ..so obv a small error somewhere
Rebased to 400% and giving an ad hoc figure of 2.5% to the rest of the field (which is less than the market price) it came up with the following prices
Villa 1.00
Klose 1.36
Schneider 1.53
Muller 1.89
Vittek/Higuain 2.55
Forlan 5.2
Suarez 12
Podski 40
so the market looks quite accurate to me although partly will be due to my money betting to those prices

In a golf tournament, Tiger Woods wins, Vijay Singh finishes second, Phil Mickelson third, but five players tie for fourth. This creates a multiple dead-heat for fourth and fifth place.
So in this case, if you backed Luke Donald for £5 at 10.0 for a Top 5 finish and he finished in the tied group of players, you would receive
Stake x Odds x No. of Payouts / No. of Tied runners = £5 x 10.0 x 2 / 5 = £20
