I've backed Japan outright as well as haveing small bets on 0-0 and 1-0 to Japan. I think it'l be a boring game but Japan look the team more likely to nick it for me.

Lay over 9 booking points

Thanks glass half full,
slightly better odds in the asian handicap market @ Japan -0 also |

Backing Japan to win tonight and to make the semi finals

Fancy Paraguay strongly. The Danes played very poorly. Paraguay have looked excellent. Solid in all departments. Only downside for them is midfielder Caceres missing due to suspension. He has been excellent.
By:
Laying Paraguay - not sure Japan will manage to secure the win, but both can struggle for goals while being solid, so laying Paraguay at the odds looks the bet. Too short.

over 90 minutes that was

Japs a banker for me today, Paraguay are play like some of my horses run, in snatches, the Japs are disciplined hard workers with high technical ability levels, and the boy honda would grace any prem team.
By:
i'm turning japanese,i really think so,disciplined side,enthusiactive
and fast. did you hear about honda...asked for more pay from club ...manager said on yer bike! |

Surprised to read a Japan lovefest on this thread , however I agree
![]() I have laid Paraguay over 90 mins also shrewd, the odds look wrong to me. Paraguay are solid, hard working and well organised but haven't shown much flair or real goal threat. Japan can beat them I reckon, but the lay of Paraguay looks the right choice. Good luck |
By:
we havn't had penalties yet... so sods law it seems destined to go there tonight.
Good Luck All! RWMJr |

Having watched all 3 games featuring Japan and Paraguay during the world cup I can't see why there is such confidence in a Japanese success. I think Paraguay are comfortably the better team and should qualify.
By:
Scored 3 when they played the English pre tourney not many teams manage that get on those japs ;o)
By:
Japan being over-rated by a lot of people on the forum imo.
Fancy paraguay to ease through here |
By:
Tight match lads - could be the first one to go to penalties imo ...
By:
I'm on Japan on the DNB at 2/1 although the odds have shortened a bit now.
Definitely value there, I can see this being a very even game which could go either way. The key will be whether or not Japan can break through the Paraguay defence - I think they will need a couple of goals to win this in the 90 minutes. Wouldn't be surprised if we had our first extra time match on our hands. |
By:
I agree. I've done draw double today.

We have already had one, Ghana v USA or did you mean first to go to penalties? |
By:
Laid under 2.5 @1.55, I dont expect lots of goals, but then again, that was the priec for England Germany. I think thats too short a price for any match (except one that includes Switzerland).

By:
Bexley well spotted. Erm I forgot about that one.
By:
another winner which I'm pleased with ofc but I think we just watched a preview of Brazil v Holland[;)]

Easy money, wd winners.

Came away a nice few quid up. A late goal from Japan would have got me really excited!!!
Well done winners. |
By:
welldone, i followed cruise on small backing of 0-0, i'm thinking japan on penalties now?
By:
I aint backing a coin flip. But Japan are the bigger price and their goalie is bigger in the goal than Paraguay's. If I was given a free bet it'd go on Japan in the penalties.

good calls cruise d!
