Evening campers, anyone out there ?

11.55 under the floodlights @ Penn National , favourite is 5/4.
As usual Miss Dillingham, the fav wins ![]() |

evening Mike

To be honest Wisewords, for many years now I pop out for a couple of beers on most Friday evenings, usually 3 or 4 max.
When I return Penn is the meeting on ATR, and my aim is to recover costs, usually around £15. In 20 years I have failed in my endeavours maybe half a dozen times. I lay the outsiders at Penn and it works for me . |
|
By:
Evening campers, hope you are all well on this cold Saturday morning.
But as always we have racing from Penn National to warm us up, and hopefully we can pick us a few losers . |
|
By:
Everything getting back to normal here in the UK, and Penn is here for all those who have done their dough at York today.
Just Lay the outsiders and recoup the losses. Nothing complicated, no outsiders have won for years, so fill your boots. Good luck all, and stay safe. |
|
By:
So here we go.
23.52 No9 33/1 on here 40.0 to Lay. Fill your boots. |

12th May Race 6, 45 beers down the drain, send another barrel.

What’s this?
Did an outsider win ? Never happens on my watch. |

02:10 CLAIMING
1st 3. Graceygab 29.4 2nd 1. Groton St Scout 18.4 3rd 9. Vaunt 2.2 f Oops, hope you'd nodded off by now Mike! |
|
By:
When I say outsiders, I mean triple figures.
28/1 is almost favourite. . |
|
By:
so you lay 1 beer(a fiver) to 100 beers (£500), that's one way to ruin your Friday night!
|
|
By:
Swiftly, just checked the full Result of this race, run on 29th May.
I would advise you that in that race the 5 horse, Swift Joanna was SP of 55/1, finished 4th behind the winner Graceygab. That would have been the bet, but you are correct that a bigger than normal SP of 28/1 won the race. Morning Line price was only 18/1 however, so not big enough to enter my calculations. |

Poor live coverage on ATR today

careful of those longshots Michael
|
|
By:
Long shots a thing of the past at Penn.
Anyone needing a few quid , just wait ‘til the early hours at Penn and fill your boots laying the outsiders. Tried and trusted system for many many Fridays since Adam was a lad. |

Worked at Rothmans Aylesbury for 10 years, so tips at Woodbine not really my thing.
But , this Emma-Jayne hoss in the 12.20 looks to have a favourites chance @ 7/4 Lord of Legends. |
|
By:
Trap to Line, wins @ 9/4.
Easy when you don’t risk any money. Like most of the bluffers on here. |
|
By:
Evening all.

Had a charmed time for a long time now, with very few upsets.
Mind you I’m not greedy and only nick what I need, and it all adds up. |
|
By:
Take a look at US track results on the ATR website , where they give you full results for all
the days meetings, and you will see that the outsider of the field rarely wins. I’m very selective and the hit rate for me is almost nonexistent . Only go big if I have an average day on the UK stuff, and I need to recoup losses. Rarely happens though ![]() |

Keep dreaming Mike
|
|
By:
Penn never lets us down.
Results so consistent and predictable. What more could you want? |
|
By:
So another strong fancy sluices in at Penn 12.49 @ 15/8.
|
|
By:
Easy money. How much did you make last night Mike?
|
|
By:
All I ever do is try to cover my drinks bill,so an hour or so gets me £15-20,and then off to bed.
So I just Lay the big ‘uns. |
|
By:
It's a brave tactic. What happened to Penn on a Saturday?
|
|
By:
Keep dreaming Mike
|
|
By:
To be fair to RothmanMike I've just checked through the 100 or so Penn races in the last month, and not one single outsider has won. The biggest priced winner was 16/1.
|
|
By:
If you say you have an obvious edge - and you come on a forum teling everyone what it is - that isn't very clever.
Furthermore, if your said edge is so good and foolproof you only make £15/20 a meet - you need to check yourself into The Priory. |
|
By:
Tiny, the thing is, how many people do you know would risk £1000 to win £2.
Not an edge, just need the Bank and the Balls (and possibly the stupidity), to play. I do, and I’m happy. Hope that answers your question. |
