Well done at Bel and WO Risky.
Thanks a lot. Chuffed with the 6's win. |

FL
7 at 3.5. Wire to wire. Should improve second time back off layoff. |
By:
you are doing well, it is harder to find winners than losers imo, though it often hurts more when you get the lays wrong!
By:
I think the new barn has ruined the 3.
By:
my turn to miss the off, 7 a great shout, wd
By:
got pipped, unlucky
By:
Thanks a lot Risky. You're doing very well too. It's all relative. It's all about finding value.
By:
i thought the 7 had that
By:
Thanks Risky. It nearly wired the field as I suspected it might. Bad result, but encouraged that I predicted the race shape correctly.
By:
Yeah, me too. I was almost celebrating before the finish. lol

BEL
6 at 2.7. Should improve second time out. Good barn change. |
By:
WO
1 at 11.0. 3 at 6.4. Both look fit on return from layoff to me. |
By:
going to lay it, just because of the price it is in a mdn v similar imo, but won't begrudge you the win if you get it, gl
By:
the bel race that is
By:
I can see your reasoning, but the barn change and second race are big factors for me. Gl.
By:
and at woodb, i'd be inclined to lay the 7, not sure yet tho
By:
Second time out I mean.

gone for the lay of the 7 at woodb, gl
By:
Unlucky Risky. You read that pretty well really. Two horses were close. 6 was really struggling.
By:
think the 7 might have got that hmm
By:
1 pipped at the post at WO. :(
By:
Oh just noticed you backed 7. Well done. You definitely got that! :)
By:
Oh noooo. You layed it. So sorry. :(
By:
1 was so bloody close. I'm gutted.
By:
yeah 2 bad lays in a row, fortunes change quickly, now to take a deep breath and not chase..
By:
Yeah, that's the key. I haven't seen anything wrong with your selections at all. I'm confident you'll win it all back plus more over time. The key is staying cool. If you're getting value, which I believe you are, it's all gonna come back.
By:
The 1 would have been a good pay out for me.
By:
Let's have a breather and a hard think about Bel R8.
By:
thanks, it's controlling the staking as well as finding the value, i'm 2/3 of the way there i reckon, still get carried away at times but getting better
By:
i'm not even in a loss making position tonight but it feels like it because i was quite a bit up. and that is where self control is so important long term
By:
Yeah, the staking's definitely my downfall. I know it's stating the obvious, but the key is to stake more where there's more value. I know it's a schoolboy error, but sometimes I think I subconsciously stake more just because the price is shorter. There's no point in doing that unless you think there is more value on offer.
By:
It doesn't make any sense, but I've got to admit I sometimes find myself staking more aggressively after a losing streak. No point at all.
By:
Crappy race Belmont#8 with all the scratchings but looking to lay the 4
By:
that's what almost all gamblers do, chase after a hit, so the staking goes wrong, you want the money back that you had.
By:
at bel, i will lay the 3, large , gl

BEL R8
5 at 2.9. Small bet. Competitive field and it's a doubt whether the cutback in trip suits, but I think this is fit and won't be easy to beat at all. |
