one of my sisters bought me a 35cl bottle of glenffidich 12 last christmas, I swear to god it meant as much to me as expensive gifts i got, and when she said a few weeks back what did I want for christmas I mentioned this, so hopefully more scotch comes my way.

i'm not having a go i sympathise, but I never do supers, the other night i did a tri and 3 of them came in first 4 but 3rd in tri just came 4th, its when i think i gave up on exotics

Right from one scotch drinker to the next, how come a Richard Paterson blend can be so ****, when his pigs nose, sheep dip and other indy blends he's done has been so nice. This **** tastes like bad JD.

i'm not an expert on blends but when i was about 17 i bought a bottle of W&M very cheap in spain and my dad laughed at me for drinking "gut rot whisky" so ,maybe he knew more than i gave him credit for lol

my view was, right last night I was chugging away on a Johhnie Walker black, thinking, if I could get a cheap blend, put a bit of good stuff in, ultimately the result might be good, so I mixed W & M with Highland Park, along with Laphroig and Talisker the best scotch's in their price range but naw, still taste that flat sweet sickening ****
