Strictly speaking I don't do domestic either, living on a big island between England & USA only at the big jumps meetings I bet big I go to Dundalk every so often as its only an hours jaunt down the motorway but the British stuff is more predictable than our stuff imo.

jameson is expensive here, cheapest £17 per 70 cl, the imported stuff from scotland is cheaper, though I love Jameson, with guinness, and jameson reserve

one of my sisters bought me a 35cl bottle of glenffidich 12 last christmas, I swear to god it meant as much to me as expensive gifts i got, and when she said a few weeks back what did I want for christmas I mentioned this, so hopefully more scotch comes my way.

i'm not an expert on blends but when i was about 17 i bought a bottle of W&M very cheap in spain and my dad laughed at me for drinking "gut rot whisky" so ,maybe he knew more than i gave him credit for lol

my view was, right last night I was chugging away on a Johhnie Walker black, thinking, if I could get a cheap blend, put a bit of good stuff in, ultimately the result might be good, so I mixed W & M with Highland Park, along with Laphroig and Talisker the best scotch's in their price range but naw, still taste that flat sweet sickening ****
