too many newcomers to New Mexico and lay off horses for me at Sunland.
I respect the chances of No8 but 14.00 is too big for No6 who may be 2nd or 3rd best on paper although has a lay to overcome |

Lightly raced types 2+7 have some appeal at big prices. No6 looks the horse to bat now getting an extra furlong to travel but I am prapared to go with No12. He is a private purchase by his owner/trainer/breeder having lost him earlier in his career. The person who trained him recently was a bad operator and I expect him to improve for the barn change. 5.50+ is fair enough although I thought I'd get bigger. |
