kirty, harness racing is huge in NA.
the reason: the same reason US racing is popular in the UK......evening racing....... it allows the casual amateur crowd (those with real morning jobs) to follow and gamble |

No, kirty. Not involved with either sport right now. It was fun for a while but at an average cost of $8,000/month/horse you better have some good stock otherwise you'll be out of serious money real soon. I've owned a few stake horses over the years but certainly not enough to make it pay for itself.
Besides, now we have a baby on the way so I can't fool around too much with this stuff anymore [;)] |

Tod all well .. no kids and my dad died 10yrs ago aged 50 but been to a Christening and all good here..
Had a crack with my sisters kids and family and friends got my health and a big smile on my face so that is what counts more to me than anything. Hope you have had a good one and all well you end.. Will put my little violin away now will have the neighbours crying.. |
