Good evening all, no doubt limited opportunities early on tonight with it being Fathers Day and competition from the WC, but good luck to all/any playing.

Michael fair enough you have your opinion but I dont see where people are grieving some people just dont get enjoyment winning money on a lay that breaks down or see why would people cheer about it, last time I checked its horse racing not blood sport.
Anyway it seems to be crosswires on my behalf :)

the same reason US racing is popular in the UK......evening racing....... it allows the casual amateur crowd (those with real morning jobs) to follow and gamble

Cheers Cork and TC.. the harness racing just seems a little bizarre but each to their own and glad it keeps us regular folk with something to follow..
TC saw your post a couple week back regarding horse ownership are you still involved?

No, kirty. Not involved with either sport right now. It was fun for a while but at an average cost of $8,000/month/horse you better have some good stock otherwise you'll be out of serious money real soon. I've owned a few stake horses over the years but certainly not enough to make it pay for itself.
Besides, now we have a baby on the way so I can't fool around too much with this stuff anymore [;)]

the way this #4 won first time on dirt over from cali last time out would make it more like an evens shot in fast going imo, if it takes to the slop 14/5 could look very decent. GL

I would be amazed if 10 keeps that. It chopped the 4 off on the bend and nearly brought him down and then interfered with the 2nd too, but not as badly.
