The law that prohibits US residents from participating on here is a FEDERAL law. A state like NJ may be willing but without Congress changing the SAFE Port Act this has no chance of ever seeing the light of day.

Just to be more clear, the Federal law doesn't prohibit online gambling, it simply makes it illegal to engage in financial transactions (or provide such) with online gambling service providers. So if BF executives don't want to be arrested upon entry into the US, US punters are prohibited from opening accounts on here.

hey guys, regarding the new jersey law change. I dont think they will be any change on betfair. I think they are creating there own new jersey betting exchange, where clients prove they are new jersey residents, because federal laws prevent internet wagering.
