Thursday at noon, as far as I know.

Anyone know where it will be reported live ?  don't say BBC. sky etc.  Anywhere more reliable and instant ?

The Bloomberg or CNBC financial TV channels report it instantly.

Do you have a spread betting account? - they usually have breaking newsfeeds that used to be fairly instant (I haven't looked at these for a number of years).

You mention BBC/SKY News channels - they used to always report it at 12 Noon every month - maybe with the lack of any movement in the last few years (1 change in 103 meetings!) they probably gave up due to lack of interest (pun intended)..........

thanks Gin. I don't have a spread betting account, so I'll bookmark Bloomberg and CNBC.

I'm basically holding off booking a hotel abroad until I hear whether interest rates are going up or not. If the clowns at the BOE hold the rate firm (and I think they will), I'll quickly make the booking before the prices get any worse.

As a rate rise is expected, I would think that all the main news channels will cover it.

turned out that the pound did take a nosedive, despite the interest rate rise.  So I made the booking before the hotels had a chance to change their prices.
