Full of Joy made a good start in handicap hurdles last season, winning at Newbury. Failed to repeat that after, but still with every chance when going amiss 3 out when last seen. Obvious contender on chasing debut.

I'm the Decider has not always convinced with jumping/attitude but hard to knock him of late, winning for third time this summer at Stratford in August. More on plate now in stronger race back from short break.

Graduation Night has a patchy record over hurdles, but quickly made into better chaser, winning novice handicaps at Wincanton and Chepstow within last fortnight. Double penalty to shoulder now but there's more to come.

Massini Sunset made all to win twice in the mud last winter and back to that sort of form when runner-up over C&D in February. Conditions fine, and likely to be involved if he's primed for action on reappearance.

Sum Laff is a winning Irish pointer who got off the mark over hurdles in 2¾m novice here last season. Likely to make at least as good a chaser, but needs to improve to defy his current rating.

Princely Hero is a lazy sort but had good spell in summer, winning 3 times. High enough in weights now, and last 2 efforts suggest he's gone off the boil.

King Jack is a winning chaser but lightly raced last season when he was placed twice. Finishing effort often leaves plenty to be desired and likely to find at least a couple too strong late on here.

O Malley's Oscar finished runner-up in a bumper and progressed well as novice hurdler last term, finishing second in handicap at Lingfield. Should make a chaser but slight concern to see cheekpieces fitted for first time.

Morestead is a front-running hurdler/chaser who is not as reliable as form figures suggest. Ran well when touched off late by Rory Boy in chase at Exeter last time, but this looks a whole lot more competitive.

Nautical Approach was a winner over fences at Fakenham last term but lost his way in second half of season, looking to have physical/attitude problems when last seen. Being fresh might help, but a risky proposition.

Magot de Grugy is not the easiest of rides but consistent in handicaps in 2009/10 for Robert and Sally Alner. Returns from 20-month absence, but handicapper has given him a chance and yard going well at present.

Oncle Kid is a long-standing maiden over fences who is prone to errors.

Timeform View: Graduation Night is sure to be popular as he aims to complete a quickfire hat-trick, but this is tougher and he might be worth opposing with the well-handicapped veteran Magot de Grugyon his first start for in-form Victor Dartnall. Jonjo O'Neill's chasing newcomer Full of Joy is another interesting contender.
