we should get a list going. kopriva about to sink 1.04 to go with all the other 1.0 gubbings this tournament
By:

When: 28 May 26 16:49
just textbook muggery from kopriva. two sets and a break up, 2 set to 1 and a break up and now 2 sets all and a break down. pathetic.

not two sets and a break up but still some muggery

the real tell of a mental midget is being broken to lose the fourth set and then broken immediately in the decider. give up tennis and do something else kopriva because you are rank

usually you have one crazy day early in the Slams. Now we've had two in a row.

The hottest part of any day is always between 11am - 3pm, as weather forecasters are always telling us, he should be with a end of day session where it will be at least cooler.

True. Usually 11-13 is ok imo. Sinner must have thought he could finish this in 2 hrs and be home before the real heat set in. But the late day slot would have been better. At least if it's starts hot, it'd most likely cool down by the end.

unreal from kopriva. absolute procession in the first two sets for him and then collapses like a deck of cheap cards. theres a reason why players like him never get anywhere and this is an illustration of it. cant get it done when it counts even when in a great position

Heard that too, but like the TNT commentators said it's odd that he goes out there and plays flawless tennis for 90 mins before issues kick in.

Dianne Parry quietly going about her businessLaugh
I genuinely didn't know she made it this far til half way through the first set, saw yesterday Kalinina bagelled her and didn't really check back, now she's in R3.

Realistic possibility one these two low calibre clay mugs, Darderi or Comensena, could now make the semis of a slam with Sinner out, they're better on this surface than Rinderknech, Berrettini is damaged goods, fake Cerdundo will be a push over and then maybe Shelton, an American male on clay, not a good mix.

Sabalenka AND Sherif both playing at the moment. So they are two different people and not just one player sometimes playing in a wig.
By:

Shelton has a tough match today.
Berrettini's highest level is still really good, but he's so inconsistent.

Muggy Felix with the chance of a lifetime to make his first Slam final, but is probably gonna mug away his chances overplaying in the 1st week.

super shrewd of Cobolli if he tanked Hamburg even though he had 500 pts to defend.

There was that Wimbledon where both Rafa and Roger crashed out early and we ended up with Janowicz in the semis.

Other than that I can't think of any.

Yeah, and when Janowicz made the semi's, I will always remember John McEnroe's immortal words in commentary "this guy could go on to win 7 or 8 slams" Laugh he genuinely said that

Kubot was who he beat in the quarters, two Poles, he was distinctly a R1/R2 slam level player

The problem with Berrettini btw, is that he really struggles to win more than 2 games in a row at any tournament, he's barely done that in the last 2 seasons and he's 30 now, hasn't done it this year at all.

Surprised no fuss has been kicked up again about male players being given most of the main showcourts at prime time/night session, 10-2 ATP-WTA so far (including tomorrow schedule) on the two main show courts, 2-4 on the smaller show court, Simone-Mathieu, 12-6 total. You'd have thought Mauresmon would be a proper pro feminists and it'd be the other way, but then money talks.

What the women should do then is play the week before or the week after the men and then they can play on any court they like, right...

But they WON'T do that because no one would watch, advertisers would pull out and it would be HUGELY embarrassing for women's tennis and women's sport in general.

It's primarily because sponsors / advertisers / broadcasters, want value for money, WTA matches are probably an average of 2 hours, ATP is slams is probably around 3 hours, makes sense to have the men's at prime time rather than the women's quality being rubbish. We see lots of bang average men's matches and 1.01 trains.

This is especially true when they can get a French male player out at prime time to rinse them for all their worth, as they'll all probably be out by the second week anyway.

I just had that post swallowed, because the word 'cr@p' wasn't approved, so I had to replace it with 'rubbish'.

How embarrassing is that, who are the mugs running this forum to have such a watered down filter where you can't even use the mildest of insults.

Plucky Brit Boulter doing her best plucky Brit loses in 3 sets mantra

No more Brits left now, don't worry people, they'll be 47 hopeless Wildcarded Brits in a few weeks time at Wimbledon slushing around with none making R3 either. And the richest Tennis association in the world, the LTA, will talk about progress and schemes they have around the country in schools to find talent lol, every year.
