They put Fonseca and Eala on the same ticket tomorrow night.
Gauff vs Eala. Fonseca vs Paul. Night session Stadium 1. |

IW starts an hour earlier tomorrow because US turns the clocks forward. |

Naomi 1.6 against MCOS, market loves MCOS these days. (But got it right against Iva).
By:
Haha, Lahyani just got to shout TOUCH at the top of his voice as Bublik ran into the net. He must have been so excited about that since he never gets to do CORRECTION! now that all events have hawkeye live.
By:
Bublik always gets so mad when some no-hoper plays lights out against him. Many players might, but he's letting everyone know

1.7 Ben SP, 2.0 at 2-1* lead first set, big shift
By:
Still looking unwell
By:
Surprised it's not shifted more. Shame he's such a big competitor and has that monster serve, anyone else you could shift max on Tien knowing it's a big +EV play.

MTO Mensik, going by body language he seems in tap mode. Great odds on him if you think he's fine.

By:
good call on Ruzic last night caramba. she's having a real breakthrough lately. two great popcorn matches coming up now. firstly we have Raducanu vs Anismova, followed by Eala vs Gauff. looking forward to both
By:
Thanks. Been impressed by her since the Osaka match in Melbourne, even though she lost that one.
Hopefully Eala can put up a good fight, but Coco beat her badly in Dubai. |
By:
Raducanu trying to beat Amanda playing full blast tennis isn't going to work out for her. needs some variety to keep Amanda guessing
By:
I remember Ruzic beating Nastia in Monterrey last year and being impressed with her. I also recall a great fightback victory over Potapova in Canada. but her results were really up and down the last 6 months or so, never really know what you're going to get. but she seems to have really settled after some big results in Dubai, and she's taken that form into IW. will be interesting to see how long she can maintain this top 20 level
By:
and Toad, don't know so much about Talia Gibson apart from that she's been ripping it up in the Aus ITF events. was also playing very well in the doubles with Kim Birrell at the AO, had a decent run to the QFs, beating Errani & Paolini en route. beating Alexandrova and Tauson here is stepping up to a whole new level though. looking forward to seeing how she does against Paolini next round
By:
Raducanu was a punchbag that opening set. feel a bit sorry for her
By:
Hopefully she won't fire Petch over this.
By:
if she doesn't change something here it's going to be over 15 mins from now 6-1 6-1
By:
this is a bit like watching peak Serena play Bethanie Mattek-Sands. whatever BMS tried to do was never going to be enough
By:
Maybe she needs to actually take the Amanda route, ie take a year out to try other things, come back refreshed and motivated and fly into the top ten
By:
Linda N looked like a top five player today
