no it's terrible. There's a reason I haven't warmed to her. Charming but a jerk deep down, just like Medvedev.

even the likes of Belinda and Kenin, who have pretty bad on court demeanor, don't do a tenth of the **** Mirra does.

if Coco Gauff had done that at Wimbeldon after losing to Emma Navarro, it would be all over the media. Mirra's had alot of leeway the last 6-9 months. she's still doing that smacking her leg really hard thing when things start to go wrong. she threw her racquet today countless times and smashed them too. after losing she was super emotional and swore at the crowd. it doesn't look good, does it?

it would be if Mirra did as well. At Wimbledon.

she's young so when she was doing all this stuff last year I thought her team would help her work through it and she'd eventually stop doing it. but today was a step right back to her worst reactions once again. she needs professional help

she cussed the crowd at Australian Open too. Not really a good thing to add to your repertoire.

especially when you can't handle hostile crowds. Sharapova and McEnroe wasn't afraid to antagonize a crowd, but they thrived on hostile crowds.

you think Conchita should give her an ultimatum and say "if this happens again, I'm done"?

everything is going the wrong way with her of late. well not tennis wise, but mentality wise. as you pointed out earlier she can beat literally anyone on the tour if she's having a good day. but these emotional meltdowns are really worrying. sometimes makes you question if there's something going on outside the court that upsets her and when the tennis match gets close and the pressure increases she can't handle her emotions anymore

we won't know, but I think she's just frustrated that she isn't getting the results she knows she's capable of.

or maybe it's more of an immature response, where she loves being a pro player when things are going well and she's winning matches and tournaments. but when things go wrong like today who knows what she says to her Mum, to Conchita and the rest of her team

in summary, the main reason for Mirra's behaviour is because she's a bad loser
By:
TheCarambaExperience
When: 10 Mar 26 02:10
she goes from beating Iga twice, Rybakina twice and Sabalenka once in a month when playing her best tennis (so 5-0 against them) to losing matches against Boisson, Townshend, Zhu because she can't handle when things don't go her way. Gotta be so frustrating.

*Townsend.
(Had she lost to an 80 year old musician that would have been really bad).

she does seem a sweet person when not losing tennis matches.
In that prank taxi video they did where lots of players where standoffish (no-one know they were filmed) she was very charming.

theres only two explanations for playing the doubles and neither are good. shes playing because shes wiped the singles from her mind which means no change will come from the match or she hasnt and doesnt want to be out there but has turned up anyway

Little surprised Baptiste is playing doubles with Osty, given Osty's somewhat racist rant at TT at the US Open, but we all know lots of female tennis players don't hold grudges.
By:

theres that but then also its incredible what people will forgive when coin is involved. osty is a good doubles player and baptiste will know that

Carlos time soon. He's 5-0 against Rinderknech, but all the matches have been close with one being super close, the one at Queens 2023.

Carlos is playing like a freak right now, which tempers enthusiasm. He's always looked a bit lily livered at Queens. Though he's thrown in strange performances when least expected before, so the fact Arthur has a good back catalogue against him is definitely worth noting.
By:
TheCarambaExperience
When: 10 Mar 26 02:41
I'm not saying the odds are wrong, but even in-form Carlos can throw in a wobbly performance now and then.
But if I were to guess, this will end 7-6, 6-3 Carlos rather than the 6-2, 6-1 beatings he sometimes dishes out.

Funny how the crowd still dresses up as bees for Carlos three year after he was stung by a bee here and his match was interrupted for 3 hrs.

They take the 1st set, teaming up well with Mboko. Great pairing
