Naomi was still salty that Cirstea was salty so a good time to ask before they recompose !

Yeah I just rewatched the interview. Naomi brought it up first so of course Chanda took the chance to follow up on it. Normally these interviews are just fluff.

As expected this brought out the haters on both sides. Must be hard for Naomi be such an introvert off court and then the opposite on court. You could see how awkward she was a bit into the interview. But she started it, and could have probably been avoided if she didn't start the interview with that salty comment.

this market shows NO RESPECT for Clara Tauson. Mboko has a huge bandage on her knee yet the market is acting like Clara is some scrub who she's going to easily beat

can you believe La La Laura lost in such a fashion yesterday? she's meant to be the psychological master! she lost from 5-3 up in the 3rd Sad

I mean, Mboko is a good player but this market is on drugs a bit

what a tiebreak. Vicky stepped up more than I thought she would. Vicky went from 1.3 to evens from when I posted, but I must admit she surprised me a bit with the way she held off Clara's charge there

smart tactics from Mboko here would probably be to play a softish 2nd set and save everything for a big charge to victory in the 3rd. this is going to be a huge battle

caramba how do you see Iva vs Jasmine? market starting to get warm on Jovic but is she ready to make a big run or does she need another 12 months? she's fearless so it will be interesting to see how she deals with Jasmine

can't decide if clara deserves credit for how she won those 4 games in a row or if vicky is a big mug for how she lost them

Tough one, but I think Jasmine is a step too far at the moment.
I'm on Iva at 300 in the outrights, so hope I'm wrong.

Daniil going from mugging throughout most of 2025 to now being the 4th best player on the planet is quite something. Good to see though. I had declared him just as finnish at Tsitsipas.

I see they played twice in 2025. Two Jasmine wins, of which one went 3.

Naomi on RLA night session again. Will she do the same outfit again, come out in a hat that says "COME ON!" or not do anything special?

whatever medvedev did in the off season is working very well cos he definitely loses that match last year
By:

When: 23 Jan 26 04:29
yeah, more oomph on his shots, better stamina, better attitude! Impressive. There were signs already towards the end of the last season. I suppose that's what losing to the likes of Wu, Bonzi and Walton will do to you.
Another clash with Learner Tien coming up next, the real rivalry of 2025!

Trying to figure out who is gonna melt in that.

Mensik I think would, but luckily he has a 6 PM start. Sinner could have issues, unless they close the roof. Amanda maybe. Either of Machac or Musetti. Darderi possibly, he's already had the trainer on some this tournament. I don't know how Noskova does in the heat, so that's at least a question mark.

with the courts being so quick this year, I think the chances of Aryna winning lessen. she moves pretty well but not well enough on these courts. when she meets opponents that she can't bully with her ball speed, things can become 50/50 pretty fast. last 16 onwards this slam is going to be very exciting on the women's side

Keys vs Pegula in round 4. could easily be a SF
By:

if Keys somehow won the AO again, I think it would somehow be as feel-good as the first one. she's so real and very streaky so who knows. these courts are nice for her game for sure

He's a set down and 1.1, that doesn't indicate injury
