Sinner from high 3's to high 5's. I take it scan results weren't leaked and it's just mugs guessing.
By:
so called pundits talking about norrie beating carlos last time and no mention of the injury carlos had in that match. because none of them know thats how it went down. they genuinely havent got a clue about the world of tennis outside of the slams

By:
i really would mes. i really really would
By:
this mug is evens to win the whole thing.

for those that hate Saba btw....
it reminds me of a quote I read on this forum once over 10 years ago about Sharapova that you can apply to Ayrna I don't know why people hate Sharapova. She's clearly the second best player, she never gives up and always fights for your money and she's great to back from a set or breaks down. As for the noise, Ferrer and Nadal are just as bad. one of the more amusing quotes I can remember, the though that she's out there, thinking of you in your bedrooms, scampering around court, busting her chops....fighting for your dough ![]() |

I must admit I didn't see Sinner getting back in the match yesterday. I felt that I needed to take a red at the end of the second losing about 50 quid. wasn't regretting it at all until the Dimitrov injury. Sinner just wasn't playing well enough, and I reckon he would've lost if not for Dmitrov injuring his pec.
By:
Think you did right thing. Sinner looked very ropey.
By:
Norrie really mugged. Should have been 3-0 up by now.
By:
Pavs breaks back.
By:
yes, he was definitely out of sorts
By:
Sinner hurt his elbow very first point of the match
By:
sinner was never winning if dimitrov stayed healthy. no way. he was pants and whether that was falling on his elbow or something else it makes no difference in terms of how he played
By:
that a ridiculous lob from carlos. a reminder that for artistry he cannot be beat
By:
Carlos 1.84
Novak 4.2 Jannik 6.4 |
By:
must be something in the Sinner injury for him to drift that much. So, assuming that Sinner is not fit enough to beat Alcraz, is there anyone who can?
By:
I think it's Coboli's tournament to lose
By:
someone must know something about sinner. either that or people dont want to take a chance and are cashing out
By:
interestingly, while Sinner has gone 3.8 to 6 in the past 18 hrs, Shelton has only gone from 30 to 29.
By:
some of it might be like i was saying. regardless of the reason sinner was absolute pants and nothing suggested in the match against dimitrov that he would get anywhere near carlos
By:
By:
but well done the high 3's layers on the early news.
By:
that will be a good bet for you mes, at the odds.
By:
I took Coboli to win his quarter at 75/1 pre tournament, only 1 match away from that, he'll need Novak to drop his level. Also took Shelton to reach the final at 80/1, outside chance now with Sinner looking potentially injured.
By:
I would say if the scans showed something bad, he'd have already pulled out. But could still be a wait and see situation and he may withdraw tomorrow.
By:
*showed something really bad.
By:
ridiculous from carlos and the low camera angle shows just how good he is
By:
somehow it all seems easier from the camera angle above
By:
you wouldn't expect Sinner to play that badly if he was more or less fine, would you? Must have felt quite a bit of pain I would've thought. Never seen him play that badly before. Although I don't watch tennis regularly.
By:
it must have affected him, but not enough to have withdrawn, couple days rest and some pain killers and I don't see their being a problem, people panicking in the market
By:
this is quite refreshing btw. a monstrous favourite cantering to an easy win.... famous last words when norrie pulls it out of the fire
By:
FFS Pav - 3 set points gawn
By:
cant remember the last short odds match at this tournament with an easy winner
By:
sets dropped or worse all over the place in those matches
By:
come on pavs
By:
his level could suggest something was wrong, but doesn't have to be the case. Could just have been grass is his least favorite surface and Grigor playing lights out. If that elbow is not 100% I don't see him winning this, but tennis physios are good and people can be fine in the next round, see Djokovic many times, Federer winning despite back problems, Rafa with all his issues etc.
By:
boo
By:
thanks mes. Ill take your word for it
By:
yeah but caramba a lot of that is selling. sinner isnt a seller is he

Wonder what odds you'd have got after Roddick won the US Open in 2003 for there to be no American players winning a slam for the next 22 years, would have been unthinkable back then, coming off of the back of the Sampras/Agassi era and thinking Roddick was the next big thing.
By:
meanwhile long 2nd set TB Mandy/Pavs.
