no idea but if i was conchi id be saying see you later and give me a call when youve sorted yourself out because yesterday plus the french open was embarrassing and im not talking about the results. losing is fine, in tennis you lose a lot. your attitude though should be the right attitude 99 times out of a 100

osaka in fine form. blows 0-40 which if she had taken would have seen her serve for the match, then goes 3-1 up in the following breaker and doesn't win another point. and this is against samsonova who managed to lose to branstine last week. wta is a bad joke

so sabalenka apologises to gauff for comments she made after the fo final about how gauff hadnt really played that well and had only won because of all of sabas errors. only problem with the apology is that every word of what saba said in that presser was completely correct

it took just over 1 day for me to remember that Berlin is an utter tankathon and most of the players can't wait to get out of the tournament and travel over to London to begin Wimbledon prep

I don't think Lyuda likes Naomi much. she basically said she's playing badly on the grass at the moment, still trying to fully adapt and find the good feeling. but she still managed to beat Naomi

the tournament was definitely badly organised last year. don't know about this year but the players weren't impressed with it last year

it's hard for some of these 500s to match the high bar the 1000 events produce and of course the Slams. the biggest names aren't impressed being treated like a number 24 in the world

women's tennis on grass these days is pretty tricky to predict, and then when you throw in variables like Coco & Aryna will have had very limited time to practice on the surface before playing their matches tomorrow in Berlin, it makes things even more difficult

then throw in the fact it's a 500 so the prize money isn't anything to shout about and they all want to be ready for Wimbledon where the prize money is massively higher, so most likely we'll end up with a "500 final"

prize money is nothing for the top players, but those just outside top 4/top 8 should be motivated to get some ranking to get a better seed for Wimbledon.
