Can't believe they gave a Swede a wild card.

Is that ball person (or player) in the Saville match mad? That looked like a spider they were swiping at with their bare hands. An Australian friggin' spider! They are all super deadly.

the roof on Dasha's court is leaking.

Aussies have developed immunity against spider poison.

Go Dasha,
you must believe in yourself! Go Dasha, or you'll be left on the shelf! Go Dasha, you've got to grab with both hands! Go Dasha, go! |

Hawkeye Live needs to get a grip and give Saville some home calls.

Blinkova deserved the win by the end too. she was controlling the majority of the rallies, had successfully turned the match around

snowynoon - Potapova is not an eligible day 2 pick (see my post at 12:52 PM GMT in the comp thread)

I see there are wrist and abdominal concerns with Nick which explains his price against Fernley.
By:
Would have been very surprised if showtime NK did not talk up a few concerns to try to take pressure off of himself

Gauff already has five aces and four double faults....after not even three completed service games.
By:
is she adopting the GMP tactics?
By:
No, she just continues to struggle with double faults like always and Kenin is one of the easiest players to ace.
By:
She readjusted well since that lucky net chord went her way !

Is Paula gonna stay with Stef if he morphs into a journeyman?

She has sexy dreams about players playing Australian Open finals, not those crashing out in R1.

Marketa withdrew. Dart gets her spot.

Stefanos 2 down !

By:
Ajla collapsed that set, 1.1x to 3.5 in a blink of an eye !
By:
any physical concerns for Stef? Has he had the trainer on?
By:
I haven't seen any, though I've been watching way too many courts

Thanks. Can't be much wrong with him if he just won a set 6-2.
By:
I looked for info on x, but all I find was posts about his backhand being of weapon of mass destruction

Good thing it counts as a win in the comp if your player led by a set and 6-5.
By:
was it a break?
By:
No
By:
![]() It was a suggestion I was gonna make. You'd be allowed one trade-out/lifeline per tournament. So if your player went a set up and a break (for WTA, for ATP it would be different), you could post "trade out" once it happened, and then you'd be through from that round regardless of what happened after. We're probably better off without because it'd complicated and goes a bit against the concept of the game, but it is a thought I had. |
By:
*it would make the comp more complicated
By:
It would give people like you and I a big advantage over those that cannot follow the matches as they happen. A big no-no.

You're such a communist
