atmosphere is great, but placement on the calendar always makes it a bit of an afterthought.

First set Coco. Iga far from her best.
By:
Wim needs to go.
By:
Coco likes these courts, but will it be enough?
By:
Iga doesn't hold all the WTA clout now. they put this court down for Sabalenka
By:
we rarely see Iga indoors because of the nature of the WTA calendar, but I don't think her indoor record is stellar.
By:
Coco BELIEVES!!!
By:
I really hope she wins today, deserves a bit of luck to break this horrible head to head
By:

By:

or maybe out regardless. Cause BK has three sets won already.
Final spot is between Iga and BK I think. |

Jess flopped hard in Riyadh pretty much

Aryna vs Coco should be a cool final

By:
let's go Caty!
By:
you know what this means, right?
By:
Of course I do.

what a nice donation to Rybakina from Sabs. Sabs is a nice person, and will go on to win the tournament regardless
By:
but not get the bonus for going undefeated.

Tennis Canada statement that Bianca is out of the BJK Cup final lineup.
'Bianca Andreescu will not be participating in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals held in Malaga, Spain. The team, led by captain Heidi El Tabakh, will now comprise of Leylah Annie Fernandez, Rebecca Marino, Gabriela Dabrowski, and Marina Stakusic. They are looking to become the first team since Czechia in 2016 to defend their world title, starting with a quarter-final clash against the winner between Great Britain and Germany on Nov. 17. Battling injuries throughout the season, Andreescu returned to action for the first time since the 2024 US Open in October, playing in two events in Japan. She notably reached the quarter-finals of the Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis – a WTA 500 event. While the recent results are a step in the right direction for the 2019 US Open champion, rest and recovery are crucial in order for her to return to the circuit in top form.' Genie was actually decent in the doubles dead rubbers last year but obviously Marino's hot form and Dabrowski continuing to be a doubles god means there's unlikely be any place for her especially as she's seemingly gone to the pickleball dark side permanently and Slaylah can play doubles if absolutely needed. I really thought that Bibi was making participation a 2024 priority after her social media posts on the back of Canada's 2024 heroics and the spotlight that's going to be on Canada. It's cemented her place in the 2025 MIA stakes as I'm really not sure where all this is going. |

* Canada's 2023 heroics
It will also be interesting to see if Stakusic can replicate her giant-killing big match level this year. |

Bibi deleted her Instagram and such after some loss in Asia and might be healing he mental health.
