also I'm not 100%, but I feel like Tupac is one of those that got more famous/known posthumously. Present day I think a person in the UK who's say 30 years of age is more likely to know Tupac than a person who's 60 years of age.

he was super famous at the time of his death, but maybe she was just with posh friends and was not following what was going on on the American rap scene.

Sascha has to break Rune's TB streak to stay in the French Open 2024.
|

By:
mother mes would not know who he was and she was born in the 60's, she had no idea who Kobe Bryant was when he died
|
|
By:
neither did most people in England

I remember a few years ago at the Australian Open when Rublev played Zverev, and the commentator and co-com were debating which of them was going to go on to win more slams lol, can barely get a semi between.

By:
would she know any of these mes: Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, LeBron James, Michael Jordan?
|
|
By:

Basketball gets virtually zero coverage in England, and I mean bare minimal, I don't even think anyone owns the rights to British basketball, last I head some internet outfit bought it but not sure if that lasted, same as winter games, sports nobody here really cares about, our effort and financial input is so low that at every games our target is 4-6 medals, no gold medals, just medals, it's all about the summer games.
I do like the Winter games myself though especially the snowboard races |

Holger Rune unlucky here really. With better support from his team he would have cruised that TB.

Rune can do this against mugs, but harder to get with against a player like Zverev.

at least it's been a match worthy of a night session

game over

They don't really understand much of what they say to each other, but just guess from context.
|
|
By:
Could this be why Holger is mad at his mom and the rest of the box? They do say encouraging words to him, but he just doesn't understand it.

that sounds bizarre, I used to watch these talent shows on youtube, voice, X factor etc from around the world, and the Danish language sounded the most unfathomable to me, couldn't catch a world of it, thought it sounded like German being spoken backwards underwater.
that link Caramba posted, that was really weird, they were Norweigan actors? but were breaking out into English but with Irish - borderling South African accents |
|
By:
meanwhile Rune is out.
