Goffin : "Beaucoup de gens se plaignent. C'est l'écho qu'il y a dans le vestiaire et dans les instances ATP. Je pense que ça ne se passe qu'en France. A Wimbledon il n'y a pas ça. En Australie non plus. L'US Open c'est plutôt tranquille. Ici c'est vraiment une ambiance malsaine."
Goffin: "A lot of people are complaining. It's the echo that there is in the locker room and in the ATP authorities. I think that it only happens in France. At Wimbledon there is not that .In Australia either. The US Open is rather quiet here. |

The rain forecast I'm looking at has vastly improved for Paris today in comparison to what it said last night
![]() From rainout on the outside courts to at least a bunch of hours of play likely being possible. |

mine is not looking good

Hmm.....if there is one meteorology site that should know about rain, it has to be the British one.

I used

my source, which is better than both of yours, shows 60% chance of rain all day, I've seen many times forecasts with that prediction and hasn't rained a drop, should be plenty of play , next week looking better.

you just need to look at the lil weather icons. The Frenchies should know their weather best.

With Alize Cornet retiring, Emma Navarro goes in.
My new fave five is Shelby Rogers, Sorana Cirstea, Daria Gavrilova aka Saville, Simona Halep and Emma Navarro. |

Sorana

It was a bad time to pick up that knee injury for sure. Top 20 might never happen for her
![]() |
|
By:
she should have made top 20 during her career at some point though, easily had the potential, but for some reason never happened
|
|
By:
they've put Sinner/Gasquet as the night session on Chatrier, why put that train on ffs when you've got Osaka/Swiatek, I know Richard is French but at this juncture of his career he is merely cannon fodder, Garcia/Kenin would have also been a better night match if you wanted a Frenchie
|
|
By:
They don't trust the ladies to sell lots of tickets with just one match on the session. Sinner/Gasquet will be boring, but the Frenchies will enjoy it as long as Gasquet puts up a little fight.
|
|
By:
And Iga doesn't want night session, and by this time she's gaining enough power to veto them.

Marketa now up 4-0 in set 2

Just watching Shelton for first time, not really seen him much for a rated one.
He needs to grow up - seems like a child. |

Laver Cup new captains: Noah for Europe and Agassi for Team World. Ah, the great rivalry they had! But both are charismatic so a step up from Borg in that regards. Still think Federer vs Roddick would be better, but maybe they will get there in time. Joke tournament anyway.

|
By:
I was saddened to read those quotes SMB. I wish the crowd would keep it on the right side of respect, as I do enjoy the Davis Cup level of support for home players !
|
|
By:
Federer really should captain Laver Cup eventually. It is his tournament after all.
|
|
By:
yeah, sadly it only takes a few idiots to have the lines crossed.

Goffin is old now. It is his natural role assigned by nature to become grumpy.
