The men's event has the shortest odds on the favorite in ages (Roger in 06' '07?) whereas I can't recall a time where the favorite for the women's event had such big odds.

novak has competition on the hardcourts but he can win 2 or 3 more wimbledons.......no competition on grass. if he gets to 8 wimbledons, fed fans will be seething.
Maybe he will invoke his Serbian sense of fair play. and stop at 20, so they can all be equal.

strange performance from Berretini so far ,but at least he looks relaxed ,unlike Pliskova who was almost paralised with nerves.
Berrettini has to win this set, hard to see how he gets a better chance, Djokovic is way off it.

Robin Haase did say that one time. He got annoyed when they asked him about the football and said he doesn't care, he's not here to talk about football, he's here to talk tennis. No idea what year it was but at least 5 years ago I would say.

I've 900 green on England and 100 red on Italy. Not sure whether to leave it or lay a chunk off. I think I'll leave it, and mitigate with some funds at the bookies I got from free bets: Italy to win on pens or after ET something like that. I think it will go to ET, and maybe pens. 1-1 FT score maybe.

henman is a very good commentator. knows all the tennis history and stats....castle waffles too much.
I like Henman, one of those players that deserved a slam for sheer perseverance alone

Think Djoko ups it when required. Doesn't like to do too much. Seen him switch in the French a few times when he needed to against Musetti, Rafa and Stefanos. Just reserves the gears for when needed.

Well done Djoko ,didnt play particularly well in final or semi ,but opponents didnt either.
I just sense a mood change in the chasing pack ,the Thiem ,Tsitsipas,Medvedev,Zverev etc may have just resigned themselves to waiting for the big 3 to retire ,then theyll get their multiple majors ,and all the young Italians coming through ,well,they are Italian,more show than substance maybe .

hes defo going. only 5 matches to win i think. over in 8 days.
he's mad now, because he won't be able to bring as many people on his team as he'd like, but he'll get over it.
