The last optimist I came across told me that there were 7 lucky loser spots with 8 players and that Naomi Broady was effectively in the MD. We all know what happened next Cry

By:

When: 25 Sep 20 19:55
Oh right, it's run by Austrians these days. That explains everything.

Does seem absolute muggery. Especially as apparently these players have to quarantine in Paris for 24 hours so aren't allowed on RG site until Tuesday. Ridiculous scheduling though.

Updates: 80k Poitiers cancelled. Nothing much now above 25k besides Ostrava and small pro circuit in USA. Hopefully Linz is moved like a week before Limoges so we can get short indoor swing for Europe.

19 Oct:
WTA PREMIER Ostrava, Czechia (indoor hard)
80k Macon, USA (outdoor hard)

26 Oct:
80k Tyler, USA (outdoor hard)
25k Istanbul, Turkey (indoor hard)

02 Nov:

The cutoff for Ostrava lol is #24, pretty sure that's the highest cutoff I have ever seen, so players defo want to play.

That actually doesn't help the lower ranked players who probs need to play even more though. People like Brady are in qualifying for Ostrava!

This the on court outfit needed for RG this year:

#24? Does it have such a small field as a Premier?
By:
n88uk
When: 26 Sep 20 10:43
It probs has Premiers top 2 seed bye things, another stupid thing in these times.
By:
n88uk
When: 26 Sep 20 10:45
The cutoff to #24 is 18 players so dunno the make up of the rest exactly, dunno if it's expanded qualifying or something. Obv some wildcards too, Muchova has one already but might get in automatically given ranked #26 and bound to be some withdrawals.
