0-0 system is for men's world cups, euros and (not tried it but would probs work) Copa America
By:
gap between the best team and worst team is smaller in the men's than it is in the women's. however, this is improving in the women's game slowly but surely.
By:
it's been surprisingly even games at the World Cup. Was expecting several 8-0 drubbings, but the only thing close to that was Zambia losing 0-5 to Japan. Vietman and Haiti both put up a good fight today.
By:
and they just expanded to 32 teams, so I thought more teams would be muggy.
By:
indeed, overall quality has risen. more and more money coming into the women's game now
By:
I know about more money, but I thought that would only widen the gap. But most of the players from Haiti as an example play in France so maybe it helps the smaller nations too.

0-0 system GOATing. Some matched at 100 for the France vs Jamaica game, decent chunks between 40 and 80.

huh? I haven't heard about this?

There was no intro/outro music for the most recent show. They said they're entering a new era and looking for new music. They did say there looking for new music months ago, because the current songs were dated (
), but kept going with the existing ones. Let's hope there's backlash and HIAWN won't be replaced. |
By:
so the African teams are the only ones that have done poorly at the women's world cup.
By:
Maybe Germany and Japan are the only ones doing well.
By:
we shall see.

Petkovic did some interview work for the ZDF for the world cup (currently on a segment regarding the higher rate of ACLs, and generally injuries, in female football players).
She is also head cheerleader in Hamburg today. Girl's everywhere. |
By:
always knew she would love tv.
By:
wonder if Petko will become really famous in Germany eventually due to all this TV work

0-0 system is invincible at women's WC 23
By:
indeed. Swedes likely next for USA.
By:
this USA team look very average compared to previous versions
By:
It does. Surprised they are still faves outright.
By:
although none of other faves looking stellar either.
By:
Is Alex Morgan past it and will never win another Slam?
By:
I'm pretty sure they won't win it. they're really light on goalscoring talent at the moment. but actually predicting who does win it is pretty difficult!
By:
Both teams to score only hit in 8/40 matches so far.
By:
yeah.
US - seems in decline, and struggles with goal scoring. Spain - star players missing. Only beat minnows. 0-4 against Japan, but didn't watch so maybe they were tanking. England - Ellen White retired. Stars injured. France - Tough draw, likely to play Germany in R16. Japan - Has played well, but not sure what to make of the win against Spain. Germany - Looked good in opener, then Osorio'd. Could play France in R16. Australia - Injury concerns for their best player. Sweden - Scoring lots of goals and from set pieces. Did not play well in their opener. Some injury concerns. Likely US in R16. Netherlands - Impressive results so far. Good draw. Brazil - Been a while since their best days. |
By:
when we know the official last 16 I'll do a prediction for finalists and winner
By:
England really found their mojo today
By:
Yeah, they're outright faves now. This market is so fickle. Draw looking great though, but that's been the case since Germany mugged the other day.
By:
0-0 system!
By:
0-0 system is too powerful
By:
edy will be hiding behind the sofa as always when Germany plays South Korea.
By:
Germany aren't the force in women's football they once were
By:
Will end like Kerber's AO run. On the verge of going out in the first round, only to lift the trophy at the end of it all.
By:
All Asians are the same to you? Doi and these South Koreans?
By:
No, the Korean goal scorer from today has dyed her hair blonde.
By:
if Germany manage to win today, will they lose to France in the last 16?
By:
No, they will lift the trophy and hence will not lose in the last 16. Pay some attention please.
By:
Though if Germany really wants to lif the trophy, this would be a good time to start trying.
