his weakest surface, but he can play on it (has beaten Lopez at Wimbledon) and with the courts being slow in the early rounds, that just makes it easier for him.

I'm not not predicting a straight sets win either, Ward will do the plucky Brit thing, raise his game and keep it close for a while. But over 5 sets, class will out, barring injury.
