Danielle Collins is very limited. Surprised she has got this far. Kerber was tragically bad against her. Kivitova has been really poor too today.

Nadal teaching the youngster what tennis is all about.

Very impressive that first set. If he keeps that level and intensity then it's all over. Tennis doesn't always work like this, let's see.

Never thought i would see the day nadal would be a better hardcourt player than federer, what a joke tennis has become.

Nadal is looking very dominant. In this form, he will crush Joker as well.

Are we watching the same tennis? It looks like all his opponents got told to play like cr4p.

Djokovic is a longer price to win the title atm than he was before the tournament.

Nadal the 14s shot is odds on despite the virtually evens outright fav still being in the tournament.

Market correcting itself to Nadal playing some of the best tennis of his life. Well done those who kept faith with Nadal at the start.

He was superb today. I always think Novak has gears he has yet to use. He'll need to engage them for sure!

Joker will always be clear fav v Rafa on a hardcourt.

But I would love to see Rafa grab this one.
By:
n88uk
When: 24 Jan 19 12:10
He isn't gonna be clear fav from outright, it's gonna be like evens-evens.

Djoko has won 7 in a row vs Nadal on hard courts but most were when Nadal was not playing well at all. Last time they actually met at a hard court slam Nadal was favourite too after his incredible run in US hard court summer 2013.
By:
Angela Rebecchi
When: 24 Jan 19 12:13
Any histrionics from Djoko vs Pouille and he'll be odds against vs Nadal I imagine. Surely Novak is wise enough not to bother playing games vs Pouille knowing he has Rafa the day after.
By:
n88uk
When: 24 Jan 19 12:15
Yer I agree with that. Djoko hasn't looked that great is why the collapse in odds in general. It's to be seen if he has gears to move into, on form Nadal has looked better, he's blitzed his opponents every round.

djoko really needs to win this slam...his 2 hardcourt slam final losses to nadal (usopen 2010 and 2013) dont look good when comparing him to hadal or fed especially when he is supposed to be a better hardcourt player than nadal, he also has some other slam final losses over the years which really dont look on his record either...usopen 2012 to murray, wimb 2013 to murray, FO 2015 to wawrinka and usopen 2016 to wawrinka. so considering that the australian open is supposed to be his slam, he really does need to win this one in the context of being compared to nadal and fed. not to mention needing to get his number of slams closer to nad and fed as well with him being currently on 14, nad at 16 and fed at 20. so taking all of this into consideration ive put money on djoko to do what he needs to do and win this slam
