Like 3 of the top 10 surely is the worst ever for a masters 1000 isn't it?
By:
must be

Julia Goerges mental brakedown? Left court.

Also said F*** to referee

The best master are IW & Miami anyway, expecting players to be mentally and physically fresh, not slams in view, no reason to tank and weather conditions are generally better.
By:
They played it Grant, but most of them tanked for the masters.
By:
n88uk who would be on your shortlist for women's US open, or do you just wait to see the draw before you make your decision.

paris masters such a terrible tournament
By:
There were worst years in Paris than that. But still 3 of the top 10 is just dire. I can't ever remember so many players injured like this.
And Zverev was fatigued too. |
By:
I didn't see svito earlier, was it a tank?
By:
They should definitively play Paris earlier, before Basel maybe.
By:
Svito didnt really try, head gone on every single key point, erratic most of the time.

Honestly think it's so hard to pick a USO winner. After Svitolina and Woz were smashed in after last week, I looked this week and nothing takes my fancy anymore. Contenders is pretty much everyone at the top of the market, but hard to know where the value is.
I do like to see draw, but in this case, you norm learn who the form players are from watching first few rounds. Eg. it was very clear within a few rounds that Muguruza was playing well and her draw was open after Pliskova's loss (who owns her), not that I actually saw her winning though. |

I would pick Mugu as my favorite.

Goerges woken up now?
By:
sloane collapsing, has she run out of gas
By:
Well mugged sloane, 3 wasted gps.
By:
did sloane have bp's first game of this set, I missed it
By:
Yer she did, 15-40.
By:
kinda looks like shes gassed here
By:
Not sure Sloane is going to want to go long really. This is already her 5th set of the day.
By:
Of course she did 15-40. Shouold already be 2-0 up , thats where the self-ownage started.
By:
So could do with turning it around in this set. But Julia is actually getting the ball in the court now.
By:
WTA at its best.
By:
Would slightly favor julia if she wins this set quickly, otherwise she will feel the fatigue as well.
By:
think Isner just hit 4 aces from 0-30, classic
By:
Just backed Gorgi for US open @250, this is another player who is not on the exchange market along with Safarova, emailed Betfair the other day regarding players missing from the outrights, still waiting on a reply

Sloane and Julia swapped bodies after first set
By:
that might be a big hold for sloane though
By:

By:
It was a big hold, or rather a waste of chance from julia, she needed that double break, but relaxed too soon.
By:
georges gonna beat sloane on a hard court for the first time
By:
julia relying on servebotting right now
