feels like kyrgios will just play this out instead of retiring

I took my bet on the theory that Kyrgios doesn't strike me as the sorta guy who will retire in a grand slam, will just go through the motions.

I wasn't even actually watching the Kyrgios match, but everyone on Twitter was saying he's finished, and he was odds on here.

True then Caramba. But he knew about this injury before coming in and said in media that he's just playing it because it's Wimbledon, he knows he needs surgery at some point.

Which isn't the sorta attitude I'd expect if he's going to retire with a pre-existing injury, as then why play at all.

don't think that wildcard did robson any favours, nor do i think it was deserved.

wasn't expecting her to beat bhm, but i don't think the big stage and expectation helps.

Hard to say really, as she wouldn't get through Q. It's harsh, but in reality Laura is a player going nowhere really. Just a 200 ranked plodder.

Kyrgios is an idiot, a sore loser and an ****. Hope his injury never disappears. He's an injury to tennis. This spoiled kid should work in a mine.

I don't like to declare players finnish but might be time for her to change careers to tennis presenter/commentator on tv.

The only way back really is grinding out many ITF wins. But it doesn't look likely anytime soon. The ITF she won was a very weak one in Asia, which was even weaker than the normal Asian ITF's as all the better players had gone to RG qualifying.

You say that SiG, but if I posted that on Twitter, I would get absolutely battered by people.
