The actual bus says: "We send the EU 350 million a week. Let's fund our NHS instead".
The second part of the statement would have to be government policy - its got nothing to do with voting to leave. It is simply used to argue that the money saved from Brexit could be spent elsewhere. Voting in the referendum was was simply to ask whether to stay or leave the EU, nobody was voting on government policy. |

Only complete mugs thought £350m is a large amount anyway even with it being an inflated figure it's a nothing amount in reality. Unfortunately the it's a big number so it must be big fooled too many people.

As far as I'm aware, Parliament passed a law that stated that Article 50 to be passed in the event of a Leave vote in the referendum. Over 80% of Parliament voted to pass the law.

n88uk, this X amount of money argument is a huge nothing burger. Nobody was voting on whether X amount of money was going to go to X service. It is government that decides what is spend on what through policy. Nobody was voting on government policy apart from whether the UK was going stay in the EU or not.

Did they not? Then nobody will have a problem if money does not go to the NHS, if the UK makes a deal that makes the UK part of the single market and free movement of labour?

indy referendum was fought on Stay basis that Scotland leaving could mean loss of EU status and promised greater powers to Scotland if they stayed
UK voted Brexit and I think those powers never happened yet |
