Concrete feet isn't to do with moving side to side normally. It mostly hurts you when someone hits right at you, because it means you make zero adjustment steps, and just try and arm the ball. Serena does this a lot in her matches, she did a lot in first sets last year when she was fast asleep, but she doesn't seem fast asleep today as there is a reaction today.
