You click a link to a website you think is another website (eg. gmail). But it's actually just a front, and steals your password (because you enter it).

Basically I would recommend wisewords, never login to websites by clicking a link to get them.
Enter them manually or via bookmarks. |

it's something more sinister than that. first my main e-mail address is attacked last Friday. then on Sunday my fb account (which has a totally different e-mail address and password) is targeted..
