her body got so thin in that haunting pic of her in a wheelchair. She seemed like such a selfless good person which makes this all the more upsetting. She was loved by all and if you watch her clips on youtube with heather watson, you can see. desperately sad.So unfair.
A sad reminder to live as much as you can whilst you can |

Terrible, if she was only diagnosed 2 months ago how did she fade so fast?
|
|
By:
probably because it was at an advanced stage when it was diagnosed
liver cancer is also one of the worst |
|
By:
She was diagnosed in January, but didn't announce it till March. Still very fast tho. Liver is one of the worst I believe (along with lung and pancreatic) We should be investing more heavily in cancer research. Instead of selling out to the pharma giants

Loads of different signs The Bhoys and loads of different cancers. A friend of min had a very sore throat for about 3 weeks and was never ill before. Went to the doctors who took a blood test and a week later diagnosed with AML ( leukemia ) , passed away 9 weeks later at the age of 31

the problem with the liver and pancreas is that they are both so so soft and so homogenous that the tumour can go undetected for such a long time, without presenting any symptoms so it's often caught very late; the liver is also a prime site for metastases as well if it's not primary liver cancer.
as for spending money on cancer, there is plenty. the two primary issues delaying progressing are the cost of clinical trials and the inability of terminal patients to be non-litigious guinea pigs. |
