NOT SURE HOW BOOKIES MAKE BARTOLI FAV WHEN THERE'S NO HEAD TO HEAD AND THE FACT FLIPKINS HAD A TOUGHER ROUTE TO SEMIS.
EITHER WAY BARTOLI IS TOO LOW COS I CAN'T SEE HER DOING MUCH AGAINST THE FLIPKINS SERVE THAT'S BEEN ON FIRE ONLY THING IS WILL BE IF FLIPKINS TAKE A BOW WITH A "I'VE DONE MY BEST" ATTITUDE. I THINK SHE COULD WIN THIS BARTOLI DOESN'T IMPRESS ME

very impressed with the way she served out against kvitova - she 's got balls, she's also gone from 262 to 20 in 15 months so in great form, nothing to loose and playing against a lunatic weirdo who can get so worked up she nearly goes into some sort of weird fit at the back of the court

flipkens has won wimbledon and us open junior titles - she has class, she's just been plagued with injuries but right now is fit and in a good place, thats the main reason she hasnt been to the business end of the big tournaments

Flipper has made very few UEs so far. Bartoli has been serving surprisingly well but has dipped slightly in her last 2 matches, giving away more UEs than winners and getting broken 4 times in a row v Sloane in the second set but won it because Sloane only won 5/26 points on serve
 Flipper slices the ball a lot and waits for errors from opponents. I can see her bringing out the errors in Bartoli today. But Bartoli can raise her game and has the experience on her side, I can't see her going down easy here. Flipper to edge it for me, probably in 3. |

At the prices I have to be against Bartoli, I can see Flipkens getting quite a few easy service games and her confidence is sky high at the moment. I have Flipkens an even money shot so im going to play Flipkens to win.

ONE THING ABOUT BARTOLI IS THAT SHE HATES VARIETY BUT IF YOU PLAY LIKE STEPHENS DID YOU WON'T GET FAR. YOU NEED TO BE UNPREDICTABLE IN YOUR APPROACH COS SHE'S NOT THE BEST MOVER IN THE GAME.

I think this match will be decided by who wants it more and in this aspect Bartoli is a 1.30 shot. Her determination is textbook-like.
