nadal odds were way too low and dependent on his record here rather than his performance or his opponent today. those odds severely punished. well done to all winners#

Novak was pretty close to his best imo. It all depends if Nadal will find his best before the French Open. Madrid and Rome are important. If Djoko beats Nadal there he will go into French rightful favourite.

Agree, Nadal not at his best, really bad with the lead in the second. Not sure that any Nadal could have won the first set.

I suspect whatever the results, Nadal will be favourite for Roland Garros.

But Djoko is unlikely to keep up that for even 3 straight sets.

Really? Prices outright now seem to suggest Djoko will go favourite with 1 more switch in momentum.

Oh, Mattek Sands would appear to have got herself into the match again.

He may do now n88uk, but, as the French Open starts, Nadal will come in to favourite again no doubt.

the only thing logically i think happened here is MONEYTREE BACKED NADAL. 8 years in a row and loses these things dont happen

Djokovic went into the French Open favourite in 2011 and become an even bigger fav after Nadal went 5 with Isner R1. And after that it was pretty much a Nadal train.

roll back to Aug 2009 when Andy Murray whooped Djoko in straight sets in the final of Cinncy

Murray could have had the same or better career than Djoko only he's a total mental fecking midget!

Anyway, playing like that Nole is almost unbeatable although we need to remember Nadal is coming off a long lay off so it is impressive that he won IW and made the final here
