It's to do with half of draw. Wozniacki got a walkover so that twisted their hand into forcing it be that half of the draw that gets played, so all players are on equal stand tomorrow. Whereas Serena's half will have to play 2 matches tomorrow.

Seems odd. They've changed the first match on stadium court twice; was initially BMS then Serena. You'd expect Serena would be both the crowd puller and secondly for the same reason, they wouldn't want to squash her matches in later in the tournament.

Serena probably won't be affected by playing 2 matches in a draw. Venus on the other hand surely has no chance of coming out of tomorrow still in the draw.

Yer the flipside is really they are screwing their own players. Like the tournament need Serena or Venus involved at the weekend, and they are screwing them. As it is the opposition is so weak Serena will probably win anyway.
