Do we expect it to be more or less muggy than your standard WTA tournament. Normally I would never touch anything at 1.30 or less but their looks like some ok short odds bets today assuming the girls will be giving their all for their country.

Monster gaps in this Vinci market. Moving 10 to 20 ticks during the game break.
How do you lose to Lepchenko? She is a terrible player.
i lost 1111 on cib. thank god i hit another 670 straight after
i should have phukin reded out in that off court break anyway ...670 wasnt a bad response

I love the look on Shara's face 1.42 in as well.

dunno
kiri wasn't very convincing against krumm and morita played very good against makarova
but it was obvious that this slow hard court is not suited for makarova
she needs faster courts. i think krumm can beat her if maka will be in the same mood

I just arrived. Why is Morita still so high?
Not like Vesnina is a superpower.

Right, as long as Vesnina is rock solid no problems
jin_kazz, what happened to K Bondarenko, is she going to return to the tour or she's retired like her sis?
nice morita :)

kvitova may find her game.
stosur will not stop being edgy.
you're getting better than even money for kvitova to hold here.

try a football match there, they make english, russian and dutch hooligans look like a bunch of little schoolgirls
I think Krumm just realised she's an old bag and makarova just realised she should be beating old bags
Errani down a set to Lepchenko. A lot of swings. she went from 0-2 to 2-2 to 2-4 to 5*-4 to 5-7.
Surely the Italians can't lose to USA without there 3 best players on clay.
Lepchenko is all taped up in the leg, wrists, but she's making the shots when needed.
Look out.
I don't see Errani getting out of this with a win.

As usual then.

Jovanovski plays the net like JJ (meaning she gifts points in series).
nofx
she don't need to win if vinci wins the next...
USA would be 2-1 up if Lepchenko wins this. So Italy would have to win the next rubber and the doubles.
I also have my doubts that Vinci will play/be anywhere near fit to play the 4th rubber. She was cramping up bad yesterday in her singles vs Lepchenko. Hard to see her being fit to play 2 rubbers today.

What's with all the cramping in Fed Cup? The girls aren't used to having +5 days off?
Now lets see if Cepelova can stay in the match. I doubt it.
errani giving top ten players a bad name...then again so is stosur and kvitova
Power is not the problem, she has no touch at the net.
Having said that, Hampton was horrendous yesterday, and USA have no real other viable options either.
Geez. Every time BJ goes to the net it is automatic point for Cepelova.
Italy should have laid a far heavier, slower clay court.
Errani needs to use more variation tbh. Her only real success has come from drop shots, but she isn't using it anywhere near enough. Lepchenko doesn't move very well up the court.
But overall as someone said before, there are some really average players in the top 10 atm.

All Serbian girls are clueless at the net, incredible. That should be coachable FFS
Errani just doesn't have the weight of shot to get Lepchenko out of her hitting zone. Lepchenko isn't exactly a world beater, but is getting so many strikes in her hitting zone because there is no real angles used by Errani, just fairly central spinny shots.
Cepelova was serving for the match 3 times already
But this muppet BJ can't do anything with all her chances.

Yeah, I was just thinking that.
I'm not counting it but this must have been at least 7th break in a row.
Jovanovski should cut down on whoring around and practice net play at least a little bit.
Another decent choke in the making: Arvidsson from 4*-0 and 5*-1 to 5-4*
make it 5-5 and i would not be surprised if arvidsson will lose 5-7
Sofia about to lose the TB
all Ormaechea needed to do was cut down on her UEs

is sofia so bad she now is 2.22 against number 197 of the world?
they looked pretty even during the TB
ormaechea is quite ordinary and does not go for winners. the points come mostly after arvidsson hits the ball .. quite often it's the net or out

all right, you're cramping. oh dear. but you and your team need to call the end of the match.
Backed Arvidsson at 2.68, plays one point and now 1.01? WTF? Happy days.
i think she's taking point penalties here rather than retiring.
