Do we expect it to be more or less muggy than your standard WTA tournament. Normally I would never touch anything at 1.30 or less but their looks like some ok short odds bets today assuming the girls will be giving their all for their country.

You rarely get tanks in Fed Cup. Goerges looks a good price to me. I know she lost to Kiki last week, but this is indoor clay, can't see her having any problems on this surface.

can we not start calling mad Mlad Kiki now it's very confusing. so she lost her very last match against this same girl that has more ego than game, and she has game al right, and now you want to back her at 1.5ish..?

nofx, Mladenovic calls herself Kiki on twitter. And indoor clay is Goerges best surface. Mladenovic has no real results on clay at all.

I don't know why France would choose clay anyway. It's Bartoli's their best player (I know she's withdrawn with flu) worst surface. The only real reason can be because they think it's Kerber's worst surface. But this has now backfired with her injury. I think it will cost them anyway, I would have given them a chance on a fast indoor hard court, not on this surface though.

didn't know Barto was supposed to be in, with olymipic dramas and all
last time Germany chose dirt v Stosur so don't really get these motivations half the time. but anyway not saying she will win, or France the tie, just don't think it's a good shot |
