she had been back for 2,5 months when they met at USO so it can't have been that. there was an even worse market where serena played aza last year and odds went from something like 1.6 to 2.20 on serena prematch. serena then won in straight sets. i don't know what it is with serena markets, but this isn't the first time. for me 1.47 on serena is huge value against a player like woz who struggles against big hitters.

Serena has been serving VERY WELL against Stosur. First and second serve.
Against Wosniak her serve was average, nothing special and rather slow. |
