Personally I could never back Arvidsson when she has a lead.
I've seen her perform some of the most awful chokes of WTA history. The one that is in my mind is the match she played against Alicia Molik. One of the most ridiclous things I've ever seen, serving for the first set at 5-3 40-0 goes on to lose the next 6 games and the match 5-7 3-6. Her match against Pennetta only recently was beyond ridiclous, had dozens of chances to serve out and win the match yet she choked each and every time, although being the better player in general. 3rd set was no contest then she lost 1-6. |
