I contemplated Ana but I don't think she exhibits the right qualities for this list. Similarly Bartoli, she is a nutter but not a mug.
McHale is on her way but I don't think she has the right mugging pedigree yet. Safarova is a possibility for the lower reaches of the list, though she's more of a tanker than anything imo. Have watched very few Gajdosova matches, actually. Someone who could definitely be high on this list if she was a more prominent player is Sesil Karatantcheva, but despite having the right qualities she's fairly irrelevant. A bit like Donny the GOAT. |

I think you're probably right in regards to Bartoli- she's just nuts.
I do think, Ana has what it takes though, she mugs herself out of matches she should win often enough, Safarova too (they're both genuinely trying to win the majority of them imo). Maybe McHale and Gajdosova to be put on the mug watchlist in the unlikely event that someone like a JJ becomes consistent and a spot opens up. I'll keep my eye on Sesil  |

For now, he will take Mugbis' place, whose status on the Mug List is currently on probation after his Morrillo-powered performances in early 2013. Muggery, however, is a deep-rooted affliction, and it is too early to judge whether his probation will result in release or reincarceration. I must admit I wanted him off the list, but you showed great judgement by keeping him on it. |
