dont get me wrong; laying the top players pays but only when the opposition is really ready to take the match; Melzer has not been in Top seed crushing form this week (watched the match against Giraldo) that's why I was surprised by the 3 bets, while Fed's form for the last 2 weeks has been quite good.

I don't base my picks on value. Federer was a deserved 1.19 shot.
I can understand if value is too abstract a concept but can't agree with Federer having been a deserved 1.19 favorite.Even if he won 6-3 in the third. |

exactly bib, farcical statement, of course he wasnt a deserved 1.19 shot....monfils had a shot and it was an enormous risk to back him at such a short price with such little upside. value SHOULD be all important...

Well done today and you are still showing a profit but your stubborness is interesting
You are showing heavy losses on the supposed 'sure things' at short odds, losses that probably cannot be recovere unless you land about the next 30 Cut that out, or at least be more selective (as of course you can short price value bets), and you would be well above that 10% ROI marker |

Sifon, I saw Nadal here last year and he was terrible (by his amazing standards). Okay he was off form and bereaved but I find 1.38 impossible to back until I have seen him play. Would imagine he will trade higher in this match. All amateur guess work on my part of course. Am more tempted to back roddick and trade, but the wife won't let me on the computer. Maybe she will save me some dosh.
