as I suggested earlier, stop betting on the non-televised matches, Betfair will lose A LOT more on commission than they made with this match.
This is the only way to get back on Betfair and save your/our wallets from similar incidents. |

all you people who say you won't deposit again...I bet you do!!
you'll all be back on here tomorrow, betting via the SB!! betfair know this too, so no amout of emails and phone calls threatening a boycott will change a thing! |

dawsy 08 Jul 22:59 bwin has voided the match :O Why? Because they have morals, unlike Betunfair - we really should leave this monopolised company... they didnt even have the match live,so someone who backed Levine last night should see his wins void because the sb was wrong? sure that would be fair ;) |
|
By:
come on BETFAIR! wheres VOIDS???
this is UNFAIR BET! |
|
By:
will also starve the courtsiders - would be pointless for them to get into all this trouble when they'll be making peanuts out of these matches. These obscure matches is how they make their living y'know.

The "courtsiders" if they are indeed in the USA aren`t home and dried either BTW. BF tries to crack down on people using proxy servers and successfully stopped a few Aussies betting on Australian rules in-play at the start of this season. If (and it`s only speculation) people were in the USA betting on this BF might have the last laugh here by not paying them out. This is the another angle of view and correct either.. how can they bets in usa?? first of all betfair have to ban proxy users!!! |

BWIN have morals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are some classic lines being dished out on this thread. Here is an idea for those who lost here : Take responsibility for your actions, learn & never do it again ! While you`re at it develop a staking/trading plan that doesn`t involve risking anymore than 5% (preferabla less) of your bank on any one bet. |

the word bwin and morals cant be in the same sentence ;) Well, if they did void the match they are 100% more moralistic than Bet****! |
|
By:
But what do people who want this to be void really think? Some people actually won on this match, so they have to be paid out. And of course Betfair will not do that from their own money...So it wont be void, not now, not tomorrow.
|
|
By:
Who says they are betting in the US? They could just as easily be relaying info from the US to someone in a country where it is not illegal to have a bet?

anybody fancy Isner to beat Amritraj tomorrow? :)

anybody fancy Isner to beat Amritraj tomorrow? :) :D |
|
By:
i thought Levine had won ffs?
|
|
By:
Maybe they didn't. How do you expect the prices to have dropped so low on Isner with Lavine was step away from winning? If there was a volume of bets from courtsiders, we'd never have those prices, and people would have never bet on the "free" money.
True a few people benefitted from this though. It could be somebody on the phone to a guy on the other side of the Atlantic counting the score. This whole trading business is one big fraud anyway. |

willydog 08 Jul 23:05 the word bwin and morals cant be in the same sentence Well, if they did void the match they are 100% more moralistic than Bet****! can you please explain to me why should the match be void?thank you :) |

time for betfiar to stop having games in-play that are not on tv.

willydog 08 Jul 23:05 the word bwin and morals cant be in the same sentence ;) Well, if they did void the match they are 100% more moralistic than Bet****! no, they're not. They didn't offer this match in-play, therefore bets were only taken before the match. The scoreboard being wrong doesn't have to do anything with Levine winning the match. Voiding the bet would be anything but right. Doubt they really voided the bets though. |
|
By:
Mu Mu I think it`s time you stopped betting on matches based on scoreboards...
|
|
By:
isner 3-6 0-5 down but odds at 1,10, reason enough? this was a in-play game and irregular in-play games should be voided
|

BWIN = Eurotrash shower of sh1te they will do whatever they want
|

Of course bwin didn't void...lol

so and being 6-3 5-0 and MP trading @1.08 would be ok if he had won and every one got payed ;)

people would still be celebrating about the bot and/or someone having too much money.
|
|
By:
thats what i thought... but i wonder why??wouldnt that be UNFAIR also ;)
|
|
By:
wait tomorrow and see how betfair is fair..
|
|
By:
willydog - how many times have we seen games won from being match point down? Safina did it twice at Wimbledon so in my opinion 1.08 might have been generous but it certainly wasn't stealing!

my concern is not the scoreboard being wrong. Its like in soccer when betfair loses its pictures it suspends the game. There was this one game where seville played someone, i forget who. But i picked over 2.5goals to trade in play. But suspended the entire in play match because it lost its pictures. If betfair suspends these games when the dont have live feed , then why do they put inplay tennis matches without live pictures??? all games where betfair can't keep an eye on should never go inplay.
In soccer they should not suspend the game when it loses its pictures either. It isn't the layer or backers fault that the mugs who punt get robbed. I'm just saying why protect those laying and backing on soccer , the people on tennis also should equally be protected in if it has or lost its pictures as well. would someone comment on this , i maybe right or wrong? |

That\s what I'm saying - he/she got it from the people - many on this forum - who were lumping on the prices and getting the prices down. In fact he/she probably was a small timer - I mean if someone was there would sell their house and put their children on sale to get more funds to match these prices. Now imagine if nobody bet on those matches from this side, who would match those prices? |

Wouldn't see any 1.01 available in a million years Conans, let alone 1.08
|
|
By:
Not on Isner with a set and 5-0 up I mean
|
|
By:
i wonder how much you would have to pay someone to 'accidentally' get the names the wrong way around.
hmmmmm |
|
By:
but this wasn't clay, it wasn't wta and it was supposed to be one of the biggest servers of the ATP on grass.
A set and a double break up. Don't tell me a comeback was to be expected and 1.08 were fair odds. |
|
By:
so in a word
will this match be void? |

Conans 08 Jul 23:24
willydog - how many times have we seen games won from being match point down? Safina did it twice at Wimbledon so in my opinion 1.08 might have been generous but it certainly wasn't stealing! how many matches have u seen with a guy serving 6-3 5*-0 up trading @1,08?? btw it was GRASS and the guy was John Isner...and in the other side of the net it wasnt Nadal,Fed or anyone like that.. |
|
By:
I lost but wont let it lie. Funnily enough have just called both The Sun and The Express who were going to print Isner as the winner. Says it all really. Both the journos I spoke to expect a VOID in the morning otherwise they feel this could be a juicy story for them.
